Emily is looking for sponsors! She is a 10 pound, female shih-tzu born on 12/05/21. Emily was released by a breeder who decided they did not need her anymore. She lived in a cage at the breeder most of her life and has recently started to learn about being in a home with her foster mom. Unfortunately, she is very skittish and scared of everything around her and needs more time to decompress. We hope she gets better with time and can become adoptable. Hi, I’m Ivy I’m a 5-month-old Shih Tzu with a pink bow, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. I love toys. I love other dogs. Playtime is my happy place, and cuddles? Even better. I’m sweet, and always ready to be your little sidekick. I may be small, but my personality is mighty. I also want to share my story… I was going to be euthanized by my breeder — simply because I wasn’t “perfect.” Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. Here’s my truth: I’m incontinent and I don’t have control of my back legs. I wear a diaper (and I’m very good about it!), need help with changes, and can’t do stairs. But none of that stops me from living a full, joyful life. I scoot wherever I want to go and don’t let anything dim my sparkle. I’m looking for a foster home or a forever family who sees my heart before my challenges. I’ll need a little extra care — and I’ll give you a lifetime of love in return. Buttercup and her sister, Bubbles were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd last year so they are now a year old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs about 6 pounds and is full grown now. She is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little shy at first, and she definitely tries to boss her sister around, but they really love each other! She and Buttercup are very bonded and we would very much like to get them a home together. They are so funny together! They play and run zoomies around the house. They would do well with older children and we have not had them around cats but we feel like they would be fine with proper introduction. Bubbles and her sister Buttercup were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Luca is a 5 month old male Imperial Shih Tzu who weighs in at 7.8 pounds.  This pup's adoption fee is $1050.  If you are still interested, please read more below. Luca is the definition of tiny but mighty—a little dog with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. With his adorable looks and sweet nature, he truly is one of the most beautiful little pups you’ll ever meet. This cuddle bug lives for love and attention. Luca absolutely adores being held and will happily curl up in your arms any chance he gets. He’s the perfect mix of affectionate and playful—one minute he’s snuggled up with you, and the next he’s doing his signature zoomies around the yard like the happiest little guy in the world. Luca loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion or an owner who can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and walks. He’s also very food-motivated (treats = instant best friend), which will be a huge help as he continues learning and growing. This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and will be neutered as of March 30th.
