Please let us introduce you to Berlin! Berlin is a 6 year old Shih Tzu mix and she weighs about 14 pounds. She's curious and friendly with other dogs and though she hasn't met any cats, we think she'd be fine around them! Berlin has never met a stranger and loves to be part of the pack! She gives great kisses and will like your hand or cheek to show you her appreciation :) She's doing well with crate training, and making potty training progress, too. Her dream is to be someone's lap dog, and she hopes to join a home where she will get lots of attention! Apply to meet Berlin and her Whoville tail and teefers will keep you smiling, we promise! Iggy is a sweet little guy, a Shih Tzu / Toy Poodle Mix, weighing in at about 9 lbs. He is thought to be 5 years old. Iggy is an absolute perfect boy. He loves everyone. And also really enjoys being with dogs his own size; larger dogs may scare him. He is playful and active, loving and cuddly. His favorite activities including playing with toys, fetching and chasing toys for hours, leash walking (harness please!) and hanging out with his people and other small dogs. An ideal family for Iggy is one with plenty of time to spend with him! And, a willingness to buy him plenty of new toys! A moderately active household appears idea for Iggy’s balance of playfulness and calm. Small dog experience is important for an awareness of the challenges facing small dogs (coyotes, hawks, easily escaping). A secure fenced yard (above ground) is also a big advantage. Iggy is fully vetted and in overall good health. However he may be slightly visually impaired but you’d never know it. He has recently visited an ophthalmologist and currently requires eye drops…which he is not too happy about. Ebony and Ivory are a bonded pair looking for a forever home together.Ebony (14 lbs.) and Ivory (8 lbs.) were local strays. They were in terrible shape when found and horribly matted.Now that these sweet girls are safe with AHF, they`re looking and feeling so much better. Ivory loves to cuddle, and Ebony is more playful but loves cuddling too. They`re both very loving. We think Ivory is a maltese mix and Ebony may be a schnauzer/shih tzu mix.Both girls walk on leash. They do not get crated when their foster leaves the house and do fine confined to a large room. They get along with the other dogs in their foster home and have been friendly with kids they`ve met at adoption events.
