Story

King has been with us since 2015. He was originally my sister’s pet. My sister passed away and King was with my mom who now has Alzheimer’s disease. King was very close to my mom and is having separation anxiety. He has been a little hard to care for since he has been away from my mom and he needs constant attention. We would like him to be with someone who has experience with dogs with special needs. King will need a loving owner who is compassionate and patient. He loves to run and play with his toys although he is an older dog, King tends to be more relaxed during the day. He’s not a big eater but he does love pup cups and riding in the car. King does have some issues with tinkling indoors due to anxiety since he has left my mom, so he would need to be walked frequently. King doesn’t mind being dressed up in cute clothes either. He is a very loyal companion once he gets to know his owner but he loves attention. My hope is that King finds a loving forever home.

Are you looking for a companion, a lap dog? A pup that wants to be by your side and snuggle when it’s cold? Then look no further because here I am! My name is Willow Rae, and I was a momma dog to 5 puppies that were delivered in Angels’ care. I was pulled from a shelter when I was pregnant, and I delivered and cared for my babies. They were all adopted, but now it’s my turn for a forever home. I am a Shih-Tzu mix, and I am soft as can be. I will require grooming from time to time as my hair will get a little out of control if not trimmed every few months. If you keep me brushed, my fur will stay untangled. I am about six years old, and I have severe cataracts…so much so that I do not have much eyesight. But I do navigate around all by myself! I see shadows and movement, so I have figured out how to get around my foster home and love to sleep with my foster mommy. I usually sleep by her legs, so I am not right in anyone’s face, but I do love human companionship. I get along with my foster brothers and sisters but do not need another dog in my new home. I like to get all the attention. Young kids are probably not a good fit since I do not see so well. I do not navigate stairs, so I either need a ranch home or someone that is willing to take me up and down the stairs. I am very quiet…my foster mom has only heard me bark once! I am not fully house-trained and will use pee pads. I do need some work on learning to go outside to go potty.
