Several years ago a good samaritan in Nashville saved me, I was running down the road. She took me in for 3 years, but couldn't afford to take me to the vet. I developed skin and ear issues so she reached out for someone to take me, and here I am getting the health care I need and responding very well. Yes I'm mostly blind, but I'm a gentle fellow that enjoys being petted. I could spend the day sitting on a lap being company and enjoying a persons company. I'm quiet and I would be fine in a small home with a small fenced yard because I love to sit in the sun and snooze.

I came from a backyard breeder in Cartersville. They didn’t want me any more so Act2Pups stepped up and rescued me. I was just a number, I didn’t have a name. I hadn’t been to see a vet and was totally confused to be out of a wire cage. I was allowed to decompress and in a week I was coming out of my shell. All my teeth were rotten so I had them all removed, but I do fine eating wet food. I’ve come a long way and I’m doing great. I’m a sweet gentle fellow that needs a home that will understand what my life was like for so many years.

It appears that I spent a great deal of time on my own. When I was rescued I had mats on my mats and it took hours to clean me up. My photos are now, and a before and after grooming shortly after rescue. I can tell you that I NEVER WANT TO BE NEGLECTED AGAIN, grooming was so painful I screamed. I’m fine with other rescue pups and I’m getting better every day. I hope to be someone's princess soon.

I was in deplorable condition when I ended up at the shelter. It appeared that I was used for breeding and once I couldn’t produce, out the door I went. Matted to the skin, tumors all over my body, awful teeth, and eyes needing a little help. I’ve had lots of surgery, had my teeth cleaned and my eyes are now bright as stars. I'm a little older at 12-13 and only weigh about 12lbs, but I’m quiet, potty trained, and I’m ready for that warm lap and loving touch.
