Everyone say hi to Arfie, a 5 year old 32 lb shih tzu boy. Yes you read that right, Arfie weighs 32 lbs and is in need of a home that will take him on walks and give him the opportunity to shed some much need pounds---with that said this little boy is an " absolute gentleman" according to his foster mom. Arfie came to us after his elderly owner was unable to care for him longer due to her own personal issues----Arfie has come a long way from intake a few months ago when he was all of 39lbs!!! He just wants to please everyone, has excellent house manners and deserves a chance at a great life in a loving home. He gets along with EVERYONE and has yet to meet a person he doesn't wag his little tail at. Arfie apparently had a history of seizures when he was with his previous owner but since we have had him (and put him on medication) he has not had a single one. Benjamin is a little Shitzu who was given to us by a very nice family due to unfortunate circumstances. He is pure love and adored. Heart breaking decision for the family to surrender him. (Born 10/20/2019- 17LBS) He is fostered in home with multiple dogs, cats, kids and is great with them. Very affectionate, super sweet. Potty trained. Perfect little companion. We would like a home where he has a lot of friends and active lifestyle!! Benjamin is fully vetted and neutered and had both cherry eyes repaired. Our vet bill is over $1,600 (rescue price after discount)- HIs adoption fee is $950. Please consider him for your family. Thanks for rescuing.

Lanie has a story behind her and is one of the lucky ones who got rescued from a terrible situation. She made the news and was kept with her brothers and sisters in a back yard, in a kennel with water on the bottom and matted like you have no idea. She survived and is now looking for a home. Lani was born 09/11/22 and is 8LBS- She was rescued with her brother Kramer and would love to stay with him. If not possible she will need to be in a home with other dogs. We want that for her. This is what her foster Mom and Dad has to say about her: Lanie came to us from a terrible situation, whereby she was kept outside in a muddy, feces loaded environment with four other dogs. Since being removed from this living hell, she has been cleaned up and groomed and now is being fostered in our home, along with a male dog from the same situation. Lanie is very playful and energetic; however, she is a bit shy when it comes to being held or pet. She has come a long way regarding potty training and walking on a leash. With a bit more time and training, Lanie will make an excellent pet. Please consider this wonderful dog to be your pet and maybe with Kamer LOL. She is up to date on all her vaccines and is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $650. If you adopt Kramer with her both will be $1,450. Please remember part of your adoption will help others less fortunate. Like Max the little Frenchie who has many issues and was abandoned at the shelter.
