I am a quiet, mellow little guy, and I get along with other dogs really well. I get nervous with new people in new situations, but I warm up pretty quickly. My foster mom has been helping me through it and I’ve been gaining a lot of confidence. The groomer said I was a sweetheart and she even gave me treats for being a good boy, but I didn’t do so well at the vet. My foster mom says we are still working on it, but my new family should know how to work with me so training will be required.I would love to just hang out with you and maybe go for some walks to explore new things. I am very sweet and love being near you, so I will follow you around everywhere and want to be on your lap when you sit down. My adoption fee is $450, which includes an adoption kit from Petsmart with a free bag of food and coupons for all the stuff you want to buy me and spoil me with. Liberty is a gentle old soul, 14 years young, who enjoys the simple things in life - warmth, comfort, and plenty of rest. She’s a quiet presence in the home, spending most of her time curled up in her favorite bed, peacefully snoozing the day away. She’s not much for activity, as her hind legs are weak, but she gets by with a little help. She appreciates being carried outside for bathroom breaks, and if she needs to go, she will. If not, she’ll just settle in and relax until it’s time to come back in. She’s not a fan of car rides. Liberty does enjoy the occasional snuggle on the couch, when she’s awake enough for it! Liberty may be an old girl, but she’s full of love. She’s looking for a quiet, caring home where she can continue to enjoy her golden years with kindness and comfort. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida.
