Meet Selena! This teeny tiny little 9lb girl has completely stolen our hearts. She is the ultimate snuggler, but also very playful. She gets along great with both big and small dogs and even cats. She's active and loves to run but is also happy to be in a lap. She's got a good routine for going potty outside and had only had a couple accidents inside. She does try to let you know when she has to go out. She would like someone who is home most of the time, as she doesn't love being crated or without her people but is still working on it. She came to us not knowing how to walk on a leash and is also learning that, so a fenced yard would be a great bonus for her. Selena looks like a shih tzu/maltese mix and is just 9lbs of pure joy. She's spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. She is in Tampa and ready for her forever home. I had a nasty looking mammary tumor which has seen been removed and now I am a happy little camper. I love the world and everything in it...kids, cats. dogs, and PEOPLE! Foster mommy says I am a little character whose tail never stops wagging and I am always looking out for my next social event. Howdy folks...my name is Abby and I am a 13 year old 11 lb shih tzu girl looking for a quiet place to spend my golden years. Sadly my human passed away and her kids had no interest in opening their home to me. Instead they took me to the local animal shelter and requested me to be euthanized. The vets at the facility refused to do so since my only issue is that I am a SENIOR---and SENIORS NEED LOVE TOO...and a second chance at life...and that''s what the girls at FCCR have promised me! Once Karena got me on the grooming table and cleaned me all up I was all smiles and happy tails again. I actually love to be around people and other pups...I won't be joining in the lizard chase running around the backyard but you can be sure I will be walking around to make sure my pals don't cause too much raucous.
