He tolerates cats so this can be evaluated on a case by case basis.Kids: Seems comfortable with the respectful kids he has met but is still learning about how they work.House training: Working on it but progressing well and will improve further now that he is neutered.Exercise needs: Bobby has a great energy level but will settle when he is home with his human. He LOVES playing with other dogs so we would prefer a home where he has opportunities to do that and/or a dog sibling or two. He likes a reasonably long walk or fenced in area to adventure per day.What he's great at: Being respectful in the home, walking on leash, traveling in the car, learning, and cuddling!What he's working on: House training, not barking at humans, and not being vocal on a walk.Personality: Bobby is upbeat, fun, sweet, & a cuddle bug. Meet the cutest little guy around! He is a compact ball of love and we call him our "Walmart Greeter". Carson's person died a couple of years ago and he is needing a new home. Carson is a happy little guy who loves everyone and gets along great with other dogs. Carson is playful, housebroken, snuggly, likes to play with toys and would love a family to call his own again. This little guy is part Shih Tzu part.... Bassett?? A short, stocky little man for sure. Don't let those little legs fool you though, he likes to run and play with the big dogs. Carson is housebroken, so the hard work is done for you! He is an adult with a lot of life left! Let him snuggle up to you and you can heal his little heart. Love at first sight is quite amazing and it is even more incredible when you find that with our boy Lo. He has a face anyone will fall in love with. His looks only scratch the surface because underneath his exterior is a lot of love in a compact body. Lo is a one-year-old shih tzu who weighs around 15 pounds. Good things do come in small packages and Lo is ready to prove it. His background is one of uncertainty, but he found himself one day in a family and the next at a shelter. Adjusting to the changes has been a challenge for Lo but with time, space and patience, Lo has blossomed. What was just underneath the surface was a fun, goofy. playful little guy just waiting to break free. He is a medium energy boy with lots of room in his life for play and friends. Lo does well with other dogs, and he would do best in a home of older children over the age of 12. He has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue so that is an unknown at this time. Lo wants to do the right thing by his forever family, so he is learning all he needs to learn with his house, crate and leash training. He is taking one step at a time, but he knows that he will master all three with the assistance of his family. This sweet boy will certainly be a cherished family member in the hearts of his forever family. He will be a joy for all those around him and his family will have all the bragging rights to talk up the wonderful canine companion, Lo.The adoption fee for Lo is $500. At 3 years old and 12 pounds she makes a great companion for any family that is willing to let her hang out with you and just give her the love and attention she so deserves. HAZEL and her son were owner surrendered to me by a backyard breeder who only had the dogs in her home to make money. Surprisingly HAZEL has a great, quiet and mild temperament with no aggression in any area. When I put her out to potty I have to make sure to leave her out a while because she tries to get right back in to follow me around the house.
