Story
Buttercup and her sister, Bubbles were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd last year so they are now a year old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs about 6 pounds and is full grown now. She is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little shy at first, and she definitely tries to boss her sister around, but they really love each other! She and Buttercup are very bonded and we would very much like to get them a home together. They are so funny together! They play and run zoomies around the house. They would do well with older children and we have not had them around cats but we feel like they would be fine with proper introduction. If you would like to give this super affectionate love bug along with her sister, their forever home, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.

Story
Lucy and Bailey are a bonded pair of senior Shih Tzus looking for a home together. Lucy (female) is 12 years old and 15 pounds, and Bailey (male) is 9 years old and 14 pounds. They're both very friendly and get along well with other dogs. Bailey is a bit more outgoing and sociable, while Lucy is more reserved. They are not overly attached and can enjoy time apart, snuggling with other dogs or playing with people. Bailey recently had a dental where they removed 24 teeth. His blood work looks good, but the vets noted a grade 1 to 2 heart murmur. Lucy is scheduled to have dental surgery on March 18th. She had an ultrasound for elevated liver values when she first arrived, but the doctors didn't find anything, and her values are normal now. Both dogs are fixed, have recently had full blood work, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. If you're interested in adopting this bonded pair, please submit an application at: https://www.vintagepetrescue.org/adopt

Story
Adoption Donation   $ 450 Located: RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details )    Age: approximately 4 1/2 years old Weight: 20   lbs.    Meet Goose, a delightful Shih Tzu mix with a heart as big as his playful spirit! This handsome pup is seeking the perfect adopter to share his love for outdoor adventures and playtime. Goose is a non-shedding bundle of joy who is house trained and walks well on a leash. His entertaining personality shines through as he revels in being outside, engaging in exercise, and indulging in play with stuffed animal toys larger than himself. A true companion for an active adopter, Goose is always ready for an exciting walk or a game of fetch. While he's not a big barker, his alert nature comes to life when he senses something worth barking at. He does have a quirk – you see, Goose had a very traumatic experience with grooming and doesn't tolerate some forms of touch. With patience, lots of treats and positive reinforcement we're confident that he'll make progress. He's looking for an ADULT ONLY HOME with an experienced adopter who understands the need to go slow with grooming and handling. Goose will be happiest with a fenced-in in yard and will thrive with an adopter who is home alot. If you're ready to welcome Goose into your heart and home, get ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments with this wonderful companion! If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  Cratier24@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. This boy was found wandering straight in deplorable condition, we were asked to help and of course we said yes! After some healthy meals, and a nice grooming he's looking and feeling like a brand new dog. Matt is initially quite timid when he meet someone new, but it doesn't take him long to come out of his shell and become a happy, playful boy. His foster mom says that he's a Velcro dog who follows her everywhere! He's great with other dogs and super sweet. We are recommending him for a home with older children or adults only because he is a shy boy.  If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:  friendsoha@yahoo.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in.
