The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. Casey is ready to find a fabulous forever family! He's a senior shih tzu, about 11 years old, who came to AATDR from the Deep River case in CT. He is an absolute sweetie! So get in line and fill out your applications 🙂 https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved Casey loves people and gets on well with other small dogs. We've never seen him with a cat but he would probably be fine - a meet and greet would tell us for sure. He'll do best in a quiet home with adults or older children. As a senior, he deserves to be able to just relax and enjoy his retirement. He'd love a canine companion who is a bit laid back. He does have some visual impairment but it doesn't get in his way at all. He needs eye drops daily, which are easy to give and inexpensive. He will have his neuter surgery on 6/10/24. . Let's show Casey just how wonderful life can be with a loving forever family, and that his present and future can be WAY better than his past! He's such a wonderful, deserving dog!

He is 5 years old and 17 pounds and cries/whines loudly to go potty. He gets along with all of the foster dogs in my home and of course he is partial to the females as his play partners! Yes, they are all fixed but he just likes the girls. OMAR walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. He enjoys hanging with his humans and chewing on his bully sticks. He is also crate trained but it is hard to leave him in a crate when I am home because he has a fit wanting to get out. He likes toys and runs zoomies in the yard with the other dogs.
