Story
Age:   approx 7 years old  (both) Weight: 12 lbs (Prince)  10 lbs (Princess) My adoption fee is $ 995  which includes transportation charges to the Northeast. Prince and Princess are a bonded pair and will be adopted together.   Both are very affectionate and very sweet. They play outside with the others, and love running in the yard. Potty and crate trained. They are always together, share a kennel, and have their own bowls, but eat each other's bowls. Very adorable pair. Now that their hair is grown, they look a lot like it but she’s a smaller size. She’s a sweetheart. She gives kisses and wants to be held. He also does a lot of kisses and affectionate. Jackson Henson is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Jackson enjoys people and tolerates other dogs. He would be content being the only dog in the home with an adult who is home often. Jackson ended up in a shelter when his owner passed away until rescue stepped in. Jackson has allergies and dry eyes that will require life long care. Story
Sadie Provac is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Meet Sadie, a 5-6-year-old, 10-pound bundle of cuteness with the most adorable underbite! She’s house-trained, loves playing with doggie friends, and is learning to enjoy walks with her foster family. Sadie sleeps peacefully in her crate overnight and is the ultimate cuddle bug. While a bit finicky with new people, she’s a total sweetheart once she warms up. Sadie is best suited for a home without small children. Could she be your perfect match? **Due to clinic delays: this puppy will be available for adoption with the collection of an additional $100 spay/neuter voucher deposit, which will be refunded upon receipt of successful procedure at our partnering clinic. Story
Marco is an 6-year-old, 10-pound Shih-Tzu with an underbite that could launch a thousand "awws." This little guy is a cuddly snuggly lovebug and is ready to be your loyal shadow.  What Marco Loves: ✔ Food—Big fan. Might even try to convince you he hasn’t eaten in days (he has). ✔ Sniffing adventures—Loves exploring the backyard like a tiny furry detective. ✔ Leash time—The excitement is real when the leash comes out and he's excellent for a leisurely sniff walk. ✔ Cuddles, cuddles, and more cuddles—He’s a pro at getting comfy in your lap. What Marco’s Still Working On: 🔸 Sharing is… a work in progress. He’s a bit protective over his food and toys, so a home without little kids who like to grab is probably best. Other dogs? Maybe—if they respect his "King of the Castle" status. 🔸 Car rides. He thinks he’s the co-pilot and would prefer your lap, but a doggy car seat or safety strap will keep his tiny ambitions in check. 🔸 First impressions. Expect a few introductory barks, but once he decides you’re cool, he’s all in on the love and affection. At night, Marco crates like a champ. He’s the perfect mix of low to moderate energy, so whether you’re up for a stroll or just a Netflix binge with a furry foot warmer, Marco is your guy. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, slightly dramatic, and totally adorable companion, Marco is ready to steal your heart (and maybe your snacks)? Apply to adopt Marco today! 👑🐾 If you are interested in finding out more about Marco, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Marco is being fostered in Worcester, MA. The adoption fee is $350. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
