Carson is a happy little guy who loves everyone and gets along great with other dogs. Carson is playful, housebroken, snuggly, likes to play with toys and would love a family to call his own again. This little guy is part Shih Tzu part.... Bassett?? A short, stocky little man for sure. Don't let those little legs fool you though, he likes to run and play with the big dogs. He is 5 years old and 17 pounds and cries/whines loudly to go potty. He gets along with all of the foster dogs in my home and of course he is partial to the females as his play partners! Yes, they are all fixed but he just likes the girls. OMAR walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. He enjoys hanging with his humans and chewing on his bully sticks. He is also crate trained but it is hard to leave him in a crate when I am home because he has a fit wanting to get out. He likes toys and runs zoomies in the yard with the other dogs. This sweet Shih Tzu mix, born around July 16, 2023, has had a rough start in life but is ready to find a loving home. He and his friend Louie were living in a training lot for about eight weeks, essentially on their own and trying to survive in a tough situation, until things took a tragic turn. During their time in the VIA lot, Jetson’s friend Louie was sadly hit by a car, and another dog from their group went missing around the same time. Cold, scared, and desperate for help, Jetson and Louie were eventually rescued thanks to an experience trapper who brought them to our safety. Jetson is a shy but a sweet boy who desperately wants to be loved, though he needs time and patience to warm up. He does well with other dogs and will let you pick him up and hold him, but he’s still learning to trust. Jetson’s ideal home is one where someone understands the importance of giving him space to adjust at his own pace. He’s a gentle boy who just needs the right person to help him come out of his shell.
