This affectionate lil pooch is an approximately 12 yr old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, around 20 lbs. He is a sweet dog who loves cuddles, car rides, and just spending time with his person(s). When out on the town, he happily walks by your side and is happy to sit next to you with a huge smile. He seems to have gone deaf in his senior years, has partial vision loss, and has very few teeth left. However, he gets around great and has lots of love to give you. He has been returned twice with no fault of his own. This little pal does great on a leash and is house trained. As an older guy, Bruno needs a special adopter who can give him lots of love, a consistent routine, and manage his health in his later years. He may tolerate sharing his people with cats, but would do best without other dogs. He is located in Denver and waiting for a home to retire in.

She previous was around other dogs and kids and did well. Seems to be fully potty trained and is learning how to be okay in a crate and being alone - she really attached to her people and wants to be with them all the time Lower energy / content being a lazy dog She is a dog that will need monthly grooming so please plan accordingly Comes with 2 free dog training sessions already spayed and up to date on shots

Craig is guessed to be a 1-2 year old possibly shih tzu/maltese/Poodle mix and weighs about 18 lbs. What we know about Craig so far: -He is THE sweetest, friendliest boy and settled right in to his foster home -Energetic and loves playing with toys - he can entertain himself with a chew toy! -Settles nicely when his foster mom is working from home -Great with other dogs of all sizes and would love to live with another playful pup! -Knows “sit”, “wait”, and comes when called -Wants to be by your side, loves to snuggle, and really wants to please his people -Loves his daily walks and playing fetch! -Working on crate training - he already sleeps through the night like a champ in his crate! -Potty trained but may mark in a new environment -Craig does have some separation anxiety we are working through (barking/whining in the crate when left alone). He would do best in a home with another dog and a family who is home most of the time. Comes fully vetted and all POSO dogs come with two free training sessions!

Halo is a 4 year old, 20lb Shih Tzu.  Halo was surrendered from his owners becayse she had a lot of dogs and wanted to downsize.  Halo is the cutest little boy who is missing half his jaw, so his little tongue hangs out of his mouth all the time - it might be the cutest thing ever! Halo needs an owner who is looking for a dog with a biiig, sassy personality.  Halo loves to snuggle and hang out with his foster Momma.  He gets along with other dogs and is great on a leash.  He is pretty well trained and listens well.  Halo is also a pretty stubborn little man.  If you are doing something he doesn't like (like giving him medicine or cleaning his years) he will let you know!  For some people this big personality is hilarous and they adore everything about him, but for others his big personality it a little too much.  This is the same with dogs for Halo.  He gets along great with other dogs, but if another dog steps on him, or tried to play with him when he isn't into it, he lets his annoyance known, so another easy going dog who isn't all over him all the time, or have a super dominant, snappy personality would be best for this little man.  Halo is sooo good and sooo deserving of the best forever family.   If you are interested in adopting little Halo, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2234207##
