All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped. * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. These puppies were surrendered to our rescue due to an accidental litter. Mama has been spayed, so no more surprise puppies again, but these babies needed homes. We promised to make them shine and off we went! This litter is 2 girls and 1 boy. We expect them to remain small when they are fully grown. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss the grooming requirements of the Shih Tzu breed. Add some excitement to your family artwork with a Sparkle puppy! Glitter (F): Glitter is a happy go lucky cuddler with a heart of gold and a passion for snuggles! Glitter is the first puppy to bounce into the room with a wagging tail and a smile on her face as she races by with one of her siblings on her tail. She has so much personality it’s practically bursting out of her sweet fluffy body. She loves giving puppy kisses and hugs, and is content to curl up in a little ball on your chest for a nap. She adores meeting humans of all ages, especially when they bring treats or a desire to get all the snuggles they can. Glitter knows how to use her puppy dog eyes to get everything her heart desires and we promise you will be powerless to resist her once you meet her. With some Glitter in your life, you’ll shine brighter than the sun! Pizzazz (F): Pizzazz is a fluffy little teddy bear ready to show the world what she’s made of! Nicknamed ‘Sweetie’ by her foster humans, she truly exemplifies the best of puppyhood, from sweet kisses to adorable cuddles. She loves playing with her siblings and the resident golden retriever, tumbling over her paws as she races across the yard with a toy. Pizzazz has unique markings and a “sock” on her front foot that makes her stand out in a crowd. You’ll be the talk of the neighborhood once Pizzazz makes her debut, and everyone will be fawning all over her fluffy coat as she cuddles as close to them as possible. Pizzazz can’t wait to make her mark on your heart just as soon as you meet her! Tinsel (M): Tinsel is a cuddly little buddy who stands out from the girls! He has an adorable white “kiss” of fluff on his head combined with a socked left foot, which just adds to the adorableness that practically bursts out of him. He was born for cuddling and loyally follows his sisters around until they’re ready to snuggle together for a nap. He absolutely melts into hugs and laps and would be thrilled to keep you company during the workday, as long as he can nap through the boring meetings! Tinsel loves stealing the big toys of the resident dog and racing away with them trailing behind him as he zooms. His little tail wags so fast it’s a total blur… until he’s ready to pass out for a nap! Add some glitz to your holiday season with Tinsel! The Sparkle puppies wake up ready for a day of being absolutely adorable. They have breakfast, take care of potty business, and are ready for the day! They play the morning away with their toys and rounds of wrestling matches. They each get individual snuggle time in the morning and love their belly rubs. After a few hours, they have a nap until lunch when they have a snack. When the weather cooperates, they spend their afternoons romping around the yard, exploring and smelling all that nature provides! They then nap again until their evening meal. They watch as their foster humans eat dinner before they bundle into laps for cuddles and kisses. Once they’ve gotten their fill of snuggles, they wind down and head into their pen around 11 PM for the night. The Sparkle puppies have been raised alongside dogs of all ages and sizes. Each puppy is extremely friendly when meeting new humans. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss plans for continued training and socialization.
