This handsome pup was surrendered to our rescue when his former home was no longer able to care for him. He was in desperate need of a haircut and some TLC, which we quickly provided. Candy Cane weighs 15 pounds and has a gorgeous non-shedding coat that will require regular grooming. Interested homes should be ready to discuss coat maintenance. He is attentive to his humans and always wants to be part of the action. Candy Cane is quite the character and is super playful. His tail is always wagging and he’s always down for a game of fetch. His favorite game is currently tag, as he races around the house with a smile on his face. Once you catch him, he rolls right over for a belly rub and some kisses. He would even be a good jogging companion, as long as you’re prepared to stop frequently so he can greet his adoring fans. Candy Cane would love a canine sibling in his forever home but he would also be just fine soaking up all your love! Candy Cane wakes up between 7 and 8 AM for a walk followed by breakfast. He spends his mornings playing with his toys, chewing on chew sticks, and checking in on his foster mom as she works. He gets a midday snack followed by a long nap.
