Story
Meet Lil Ricky: The Heartwarming Survivor Introducing Lil Ricky, a delightful 4-year-old Shih Tzu-Terrier mix who embodies the spirit of resilience and joy! Found as a stray in the bustling streets of Los Angeles, Ricky's journey began at a high-kill animal shelter where he was left wondering why his previous owner never came to claim him. With his playful demeanor and loving personality, it was hard to understand how this sweet boy had been overlooked. As the shelter faced overcrowding and Ricky’s time was running out, an animal rescue initially stepped up to save him but then sadly never showed. Faced with the grim prospect of euthanasia, Ricky's fate took a turn when our nonprofit, Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue heard about his situation and rushed to his rescue. Despite the shelter's estimation of Ricky being 8 years old, our dedicated veterinarians assessed his youthful energy and sparkling spirit, concluding that he is likely around 4 years old, based on his teeth and impressive stamina. This little polka-dotted bundle of joy is anything but a senior! He is up to date on vax. Microchipped and Neutered! Ricky is ready to fill a loving home with laughter and joy this holiday season. If you’re interested in making this charming pup a part of your family, please reach out to us at info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org for an adoption application. Let’s give Lil Ricky the happiest holiday ever and the forever home he truly deserves!

Story
Meet Tater!  He was found wandering in the high desert in CA, and despite efforts to locate his original owners, no one came forward to claim him. He is a poodle/Schnauzer mix estimated to be around 1-2 years old, is now ready to find his forever family! Tater is crate trained, potty trained, and does well on a leash. He has been in foster home with kids and dogs, but they’re not a requirement for his new home—he’s happy to go with the flow. At night, Tater sleeps quietly in his crate and waits patiently in the morning. Once he establishes trust, Tater is calm and affectionate, really bonding with his favorite people and is easy-going. He can be a bit wary of new people and protective of his favorite spots like the couch or bed, sometimes getting defensive if an unfamiliar person gets too close. While he can hang with other dogs at a distance, he tends to favor his favorite person. Tater would do best in a laid-back home with one or two people who know the ropes, where he can soak up plenty of attention, and take it easy with introductions to new people or pets. Whoever adopts Tater will be incredibly lucky—he’s sure to bring immense happiness to his new family. Adoption fee ($550) includes wellness exam, fecal test, DHPP (3 rounds), Bordetella, neuter and microchipping! If you see me online I am still available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application here: www.hitlivingfoundation.org/adoption-application, and email a video walkthrough of your home and yard to adoptions@hitlivingfoundation.org. Your application will not be counted as valid without your video. You will hear back from us within a few days.

Story
I am Henry and I would love to meet you. I’m a nine-year-old terrier mix but no one believes I am a day over five. I have the energy and spirit of a pup. I love to play but I’m also happy just relaxing in my bed. I was rescued from the East Valley shelter where I was very frightened but I am thriving now that I am out. I can still be a shy guy with new people, but it doesn’t take too long for me to warm up and make friends (I promise I am worth the wait). I am being fostered with a senior spaniel and two cats and we all get along so well. I am house trained, too! I love walks and when my belly is rubbed. I am obsessed with my toys; I even bring them with me on all my outings and adventures. I'm so ready for my next adventure - Wanna meet me?? https://shyclubrescue.com/adoption-application/

Valyn is a really special guy. Just Happy go Lucky kind of attitude. He was rescued from a very high kill shelter in Kern County. Valyn is such an ez boy to be with. He just is content no matter what he is doing. He greets you with a sweet wagging tail, would soak up a belly rub and be absolutely by your side. He is extremely well behaved. He is around 3 years old and weighs 18 pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to shopbnb@gmail.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.
