Ben and Jerry came into the shelter together. We rescued them together.They are fostered together and doing well. Jerry is.a bit more dependent on Ben. These are fantastic pups. Housebroke, rarely bark, good listeners and great on walks. They are curious and playful and love toys. We would love to try to keep them together if possible. They are such a great team. They are only 1.3 years old and have proven to be pretty bombproof. Life will be amazing with both... All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Meet Leigha, a 7-year-old Shih Tzu that was rescued abandoned at a middle school. Leigha is one of the sweetest dogs ever and embodies so much love. She adorably loves to follow her person around the house, always eager to be by one's side. She would do best in a home with another dog (she loves dogs) and with people who are home all the time! She just LOVES people and gets a little anxious when left all alone. She travels well in the car and does great on outings. She even loves sleeping in bed with her people! She’s great on walks. We are recommending her for a home with older kids (4+). With her sweet disposition and joyful personality, Leigha is sure to bring a lot of happiness to her new home. ##2054582##

I'm a foodie, love to be cozy, and also enjoy short walks as well as walks in the stroller! I love being around people and enjoying the finer things in life. Wanna be my best friend and enjoy the golden years together? please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet.
