THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Please contact Sheryl with OAKDALE TINY PAWS RESCUE, text+1 (209) 606-3640 or email at tinypawsoakdale@gmail.com, Andie’s being fostered in Stockton. Hello! My name is Andie! I’m a super loving and friendly little dude and I’m looking for my forever home! The best things about me are I’m super soft and fluffy, I love cuddles (my foster mom calls it paying my rent and my foster kid calls it paying my taxes). I’m leash trained and my foster mom is working on house training me. I would do amazing with a doggy door. I love people, and I get along with older kids (7+). I’m great with cats and eventually get along with other dogs if I have a slow introduction. I love walks, going camping, hiking and I’ve even been to a beach or two! I’m a good boy when I must take baths, and expect some zoomies and playtime right after! Because of my past situation I have a very anxious attachment style and will be happier at a place that isn’t too busy. I would do best with someone that has time to train me so I can be a happier more independent pup! I am an older dude so I have some vision and hearing problems but I respond well to clapping and snapping. All I need is the right person to give me as much love and affection as I deserve, and I will be the best boy for you! If you are interested in meeting this sweet little guy, please text or email Sheryl at the above contact information PRE-SCREENING, APPLICATION, VET REFERENCES & FENCED YARD REQUIRED. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! YOU WILL GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR NEW FURRY FAMILY MEMBER BY GIVING THEM LOVE AND TRAINING

Story
Little Mr Claus is looking for a forever home!! It was discovered that Claus has a heart murmur and his official diagnosis is: Elongated appearing mitral leaflets possibly related to dysplasia, mitral valve systolic anterior motion with mild regurgitation, left ventricular outflow tract obstruction which has led to severe concentric hypertrophy. He was put on atenolol which he is tolerating well and will require a second echocardiogram in May 2025 (this can be covered by SIAR if needed). Claus could need meds and continued monitoring his entire life. Claus' wish list: 1. Daily walks 2. Lots of human company. 3.  A playful dog his size 4.  Regular grooming We are welcoming Claus a little Shih tzu/maybe shih tzu mix, estimated dob 6/2023!  This little guy is a short stack and is a reasonable 13.5 lbs with a BIG personality.  Claus found himself in a high kill shelter.  He is estimated to be around three years old. He cleans up beautifully and did very well with his grooming after he arrived. He also did just fine with baths. Claus is a happy go lucky little soul.  He gets along well with the other dogs in household and plays with them well.  He has figured out the dog door and is almost perfect with his potty training (needs more coaching with lots of rain but then who doesn't?) Claus is eating like a champ and enjoys his meals.  He loves to play with toys as well. He is happy to take walks in the neighborhood daily.  Claus sleeps in his crate at night. He likes car rides too!  Claus also meets people well and would love lots of attention. Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 2/21/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Abbie to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet Abbie! She is a purebred shih tzu. She weighs right at the 7 lb mark. She turned 1 on 11/11/24. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is just a naturally small girl ❤️ She is spayed, current on all vaccines, had a dental cleaning done at time of her spay, is microchipped, and had an overall wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own. She is house trained and does very well with having a schedule to go outside to potty, so we make sure to take her out every couple of hours and with that we don't have any accidents in the home. She has been introduced to a crate, but it is not her favorite place whatsoever so it's become obsolete in our home as we want it to be a place of comfort security for our dogs but for Abbie it hasn't been that, so to accommodate her little heart we just allow her to sleep on a dog bed aside ours at night and she does very well with that. She is a snuggler, and if you were okay with her in bed with you she would LOVE that sleeping arrangement even more ❤️ She is leash trained, and loves her walks however she can get them. She is VERY social. She loves being out and about enjoying her day whatever that may look like, especially knowing she gets to do so with her favorite human! She is wonderful with ALL animals. Loves dogs and cats alike, and if you have any other kind of animals I'm certain she would immediately become their friend as well as that's just how her heart functions. She is wonderful with men, women, and children alike! She is a natural sweetheart, and one that will instantly become a part of your own heart from the moment you meet her. She is NOT a barker at all, but is very observant of unfamiliar noise and while curious will wait for you to investigate it to make sure she is safe 😂 she is a total princess and puts her entire trust in her humans all the time! She has a very adventurous little spirit. LOVES road trips, and to visit new places. She will run and play in excitement in new areas, but always comes back to you because no matter how exciting life gets, it only gets better with YOU ❤️ She will do best in a home where her person is with her, as she is a true companion dog. Don't let her age fool you, because she truly is an old soul with a genuine love for everyone, and just wants someone to do life with 💓 She is not hard to please, so if you have a lap for her to lay on, an extra place on your bed, and a spare seat in your car then Abbie is the one YOUR life is missing, trust me!!! Her adoption fee in total is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/abbie It covers her spay, vaccines, dental cleaning, microchip /registration, and exam with our vet. Her spay went perfect. She did end up needing a dental cleaning, but overall her teeth were in great health, she just needed a good cleaning and polish ❤️ Ears were examined, and were in great health. Overall exam was great. She was given an antibiotic injection to aid in both her spay, and dental cleaning. As always it also goes back into the overall care involved in the time she has been where with us, her grooming costs, and her training we have personally done with her 💕

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 2/21/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Henry to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet our handsome boy Henry! He is a shih tzu/poodle mix. Yes, he is hypoallergenic which means he doesn't shed. He turned 1 year of age on 1/23/25. He weighs 7.7 lbs. Yes, he is full grown, and at a very healthy weight. He is just a small little guy. He is neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped, had a thourel exam with our vet, and has offically been cleared to find a home all his own. He is house trained, and goes out every 3-4 hours to use the restroom when needed. He has been excellent about going outside, and hasn't had any accidents in the few months we have had him. He is crate trained, and sleeps beautifully in his crate at night or to nap in during the day. The crate has always been a place of comfort to him, and if used the same way in his next home it would be extremely beneficial while he settles in and learns his new home with you 💙 He would definitely be able to sleep on a dog bed aside yours, or in bed with you if that's where you would like him eventually so Ild say the choice is yours to make and he would happily abide as he is always eager to please. He is doing very well on leash, and loves to take strolls around the neighborhood when the weather is nicer. He is a little shy when first meeting anyone he doesn't know, but we have noticed that as his confidence in the world grows, so does the confidence within himself ❤️ He is a total sweetheart, and one that just needs a little guidence while he navigates life 😊 He does really well with other dogs, but is a bit intimidated by big dogs and will steer away from them if there energy is too much for him. He gets along great with smaller dogs, and loves to play but his true happiness comes when he is with his human so as long as he has someone to love he will be happy and will flourish in his next home, but having a little friend won't hurt either so if you have another dog, or cat he would happily join their lives as she would yours 💙 He is not a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noise. He is rather quiet, and serene tempered and doesn't ask for much to keep his little heart happy. He loves snuggles, and to be in your arms but if you are busy tending to other things he will nap near by, or patiently wait for your attention to return to him. He is not high energy, or high maintenance at all. He is easy to please, and even easier to love so I guarentee by adding him to your world, you will be doing just that ADDING him as if he had always been a part of it just with an added bonus of snuggles whenever your heart needs them 💓 He has wonderful manners in the home. He has great recall and always comes when called. He listens very well, and has learned to beg with his two front paws because he knows it tugs on our hearts and not only makes us smile, but gets him what he wants to especially if it's treat related as he is a foodie by heart!! He is amazing on road trips, so he would make an awesome traveling partner wherever the road may take you. He also loves the groomer, so spay days are happy filled days for him! He is an incredible little guy with a lot of love to give so if your life could use even a little of what he has to offer then help us make his life complete by adding him to yours ❤️❤️ His adoption fee is on our website at the very bottom of his adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/henry It covers his neuter, microchip/registration, vaccines, exam with our vet, the care involved in the few months he has been with us, his grooming costs, and the training we have personally done with him.

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 2/21/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Lizzy to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet Lizzy. She is a beautiful shih tzu mix. Mom was a purebred shih tzu, and dad was a shih tzu/poodle mix. She looks more shih tzu than anything and is beautiful nonetheless 😍 She turned 1 year of age on 2/3/25. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning, along with a hernia repaired at time of her spay, and had an overall wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own! She has a very CALM demeanor, and is always lounging somewhere around the home whether on a dog bed, or inside a dog crate. She is very independent and will nap throughout the day while you are busy with yours if needed. She doesn't ask for much at all, aside from knowing breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served 🙃 She is very content just being a part of your world, however she fits into it! She is wonderful with all dogs and cats alike. She is a beautiful part of our pack here, and is a friend to all. She does enjoy playing with other calm natured, sweet, playful dogs. She doesn't seek them out, but is always readily available to hang with them if they come to her ❤️ She however, doesn't need animal companionship in her next home as she is very confident all by herself, and would equally enjoy being her persons friend 💕 She is NOT a barker, and while alert of unfamiliar noises doesn't tend to investigate them unless they really spark her curiosity. She listens very well, and has great eye contact so it has made training very easy with her. She aims to please, and is always ready to do as you ask (if she isn't too comfortable that is 😂 because then it may take some convincing but nothing a special treat wouldn't help fix 😊.) She is amazing on road trips, and loves to travel around town every chance she gets so we take her with us when we can to fill her little heart with some road time! She is very good at the groomers, and loves being dolled up 🥰 She is always excited when she realizes our trip leads us to her fave groomer 😊 She is house trained, and will happily go outside to use the restroom when asked to. She loves to walk around the yard and get in her daily exercise 😂 or sunbathe if the weather is nice enough to do so! We have her on a pretty great schedule and take her out every 3-4 hours and never has any accidents in between. She is really great ❤️ She is crate trained and has no problem sleeping in her crate at night if needed. She does however sleep on a dog bed in our room at the moment which she loves, so either sleeping arrangement would work for her as she wouldn't fuss either way! She is leash trained, and would very much rather get her exercise at with with a walk the neighborhood, so if you are looking for a reason to get your steps in, I'm sure Lizzy would convince you she is all the reason you'll ever need ❤️❤️❤️ Her prior owner faced a lot of medical issues with her aging mother and with her across the country had to make the hard decision to move back home to care for her. She would have loved to take Lizzy with her, but knew her life itself would change drastically and didn't want Lizzy to feel any of that change so she reached out to us to take her in and find her a great home ❤️ Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/lizzy-1 While great, it barely covers half of what we spent in vet care alone, but having her feeling 100 percent is all that matters to us in the end! It covers her spay, dental cleaning and extractions (she had quite a few extractions due to an infection in her gums sadly that her prior owner was unaware of. She has more than enough teeth left to eat a normal diet, and no her tongue doesn't stick out!) It also covers her umbilical hernia repair that was done at time of her spay, her vaccines, microchip/registration, antibiotic injection given to aid in her spay, dental cleaning/extractions, and hernia repair, her exam with our vet which included the exam of her ears which were in great health, and as always it helps contribute towards the care involved in the time she has been with us, her grooming costs, and the training we have personally done with her ❤️
