We adopted Kirby from the Huntington Beach Animal Shelter in November of 2023. He was picked up as a stray. Approximately 7 years old at the time. He is a sweet dog but is scared of loud noises. Pretty much a lap dog and a house dog. He is loyal and best with one or two adults in a quiet home.

Found as a stray, this little guy faced a tough battle after being attacked by another dog. As a result, he lost one eye, but he doesn't let that bring him down! His remaining eye does have some damage, but with proper care and treatment, he's expected to make a full recovery! Despite his past hardships, Alexander is the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. He adores other dogs and loves nothing more than making new furry friends. He’s still working on his house manners and has a tendency to mark indoors, but with some training and the help from a few belly bands, he'll figure out how to be a distinguished gentleman soon! She's a bit shy initially, but she warms up quickly. Valentina loves her feline friend in her foster home and the two rough and tumble throughout the yard together. She is dog friendly too. Valentina is still working on her potty training, so ideally she'd love to be on a regular consistent routine. Her coat will require upkeep and grooming as it grows in. The best type of home for Valentina would be one on the lower key side with less coming and going. A yard is a plus for regular potty breaks and someone who enjoys bonding with their pooch.
