Like… “I was just looking” turns into “Where would we put her bed?” in approximately seven minutes. This 1-2 year old Shih Tzu/Toy Poodle mix has a gorgeous non-shedding coat, the softest little face, and eyes that somehow make you feel like she completely understands you. She looks like a tiny stuffed animal that accidentally came to life and decided her full-time job is being close to her people. And honestly? She is REALLY good at it. She is affectionate, snuggly, deeply loyal, and happiest curled up beside the people she loves. If you are sitting down, Tiramisu would very much like to be involved. Preferably touching you. Preferably under a blanket. Preferably forever. This girl wakes up around 6am, runs outside to handle important morning business, accepts her required backside scratches like the tiny royalty she is, then heads to the kitchen to investigate breakfast opportunities. After that? Zoomies. Tiny bursts of joyful chaos. Then she settles beautifully into her favorite daily activities:following her person around the house, supervising office work, stealing the other dog’s bed, and staring thoughtfully out the window like she’s reflecting on life choices. And honestly? She takes her emotional support job VERY seriously. Tiramisu is the definition of a velcro dog once she bonds to you. She is happiest curled beside you on the couch, sleeping next to you in bed, sitting beside your desk while you work, or quietly following you from room to room making sure you do not accidentally experience a single moment alone ever again. But here’s the thing that makes her special:you don’t immediately belong to Tiramisu. You must first be evaluated. This dog has standards. When she first meets new people or dogs, she likes to observe. Assess. Gather evidence. Quietly determine whether you are worthy of her friendship. But once you earn the official Tiramisu Seal of Approval? That’s it. You are HER person. And honestly, it feels like winning an emotional support lottery. She bonds deeply and loyally. The kind of dog who looks at you with such genuine love that you suddenly start wondering if you’ve ever truly been appreciated before this moment. Tiramisu also has hilariously expressive opinions. Doorbell rings? ALERT.Plane overhead? Unacceptable.Suspicious neighborhood activity? She would like it formally investigated. She absolutely will bark to notify you of these concerns, but calms quickly once she realizes the world is not, in fact, ending. She enjoys walks and gets excited the second she hears the leash clip because apparently “outside adventures” are now one of her favorite hobbies. Leashes seemed new to her at first, but she has adapted beautifully and now proudly struts around the neighborhood like a tiny local celebrity. She gets along well with respectful dogs and has become close friends with her foster sibling, an older Shih Tzu. Tiramisu can initially be selective with dog friends, but polite dogs who respect boundaries quickly win her over. And while she enjoys walks and playtime, make no mistake:this girl’s true passion is SNUGGLING. Professional-level snuggling. Olympic snuggling. If there is a lap available, she would like to claim it.If there is a blanket nearby, she intends to burrow into it.If you are sitting down for more than four consecutive seconds, she assumes cuddle time has officially begun. Tiramisu was rescued from a home that had compassionately taken in abandoned community dogs and reached out for rescue support in helping find them permanent homes. And while her past may have included uncertainty and transition, she has held onto the sweetest, most loving heart. She would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people and continue blossoming into the adored companion she was always meant to be. Because underneath all the fluff, soulful stares, and dramatic opinions about airplanes is a dog who simply wants to love someone completely. And truly?Dogs like this are rare. Some dogs are cute. Some dogs are funny. Some dogs are cuddly. Tiramisu is the kind of dog people remember. The kind that quietly becomes part of your heart before you even realize what happened. And fair warning:if you meet her, there is an extremely high chance you will suddenly start rearranging your entire life around a tiny non-shedding cloud with emotional depth and excellent hair.May 15, 2026, 2:30 pm
