Mistletoe was dumped at a vet clinic on Christmas Day with a broken pelvis before coming into the rescue. This little trooper is a sweet and calm Shih Tzu and is now safe with her foster. Her pelvis is now being assessed and then we will get her up to date on shots, prevention, and have her spayed and microchipped. Please help us find this little girl a forever home by applying at our website! Dotsfriends.org 2/4/25 Update: Mistletoe's surgeries were successful and she is now walking on her own, though her right leg is still weak and under used. She still has a ways to go before she's fully healed but she's made great progress. Mistletoe is super chill and just wants to sit on your lap all day. She would be a great addition for a retired couple or another low activity household. Apply today!

Story
Lainey was found as a stray in Pasadena TX very dirty and very matted. She was microchipped but her original owners had re-home her and did not have the new owner's contact information. She will be on a stray hold for another week or so before she will be available for adoption. We believe she may have already been spayed but will be confirming with the vet. Once Lainey's stray hold is up, we will update her shots and have her heartworm tested. She is a sweet and friendly Shih Tzu and she is tan with a brown mask
