Story
Oscar is a sweet 11 week old Shih Tzu mix who was found wandering alone as a stray and taken to a local shelter. Sadly, no one came forward to claim him. Oscar's foster mom reports he is a smart, energetic, happy, and a rambunctious little guy! He loves eveyone he meets, but is not much of a snuggler. He is learning basic puppy manners such as kennel training and potty training. His foster mom is also teaching him not to bite on fingers, so we will not place him with children under the age of 12. (He can bite hard with those sharp puppy teeth!) If you are interested in adopting Oscar, we are accepting applications now at rescuerowinc.org!

*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck
*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
