Blu is a handsome 6-year-old silver poodle who is full of love and character, and he's ready to find his forever home. This sweet boy is neutered, house-trained (as long as he’s let out regularly), and loves spending time with people—just not men! What makes Blu special? Blu is incredibly affectionate and loves to be by your side, but he’s definitely not a fan of men. He’s been known to bark at the sound of a man’s voice, even on speakerphone. If you live in an apartment, keep in mind that Blu also barks when he hears the key in the door—he’s a great little watchdog, but it could be an issue in shared living spaces. Over the past month, Blu has shown his playful side. He loves toys and will even bring the ball back during a game of fetch! He thrives in a quiet, calm environment and is best suited for a home without small children. Blu has some vision problems, and he occasionally walks in circles, which could be related to his past. Because of his vision and special needs, a fenced-in yard is a must to keep him safe. Blu would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time to give him the attention and love he craves. He’s a loyal companion who just wants to be close to his human, whether that’s for a belly rub or a cozy nap on your lap. Who is Blu’s perfect match?
