Meet Little Charlie.This boy is new to PCHS, and understandably, quite nervous. He was found as a stray and had to be live trapped in order to be brought to safety! His coat was full of matting and debris so he had to be shaved completely. Now that he is clean and warm, he is ready to look for his forever home!Little Charlie has a very quiet and reserved disposition. Once he warms up to you, he enjoy being pet and and receiving attention. He is thought to be mix between a shih tzu and miniature poodle. He does not shed so he will need regular grooming for the rest of his life. Young, rambunctious kids might be too much for him, he would prefer an adult only home or a home with older kids. He may also do well with a confident canine friend to help show him the ropes!If Little Charlie sounds like a fit for you, apply online today!Adoption fee is $450 + $30 microchip + tax

Hello, my name is Rusty. I’m a breeder release, and I came into rescue with my very best friend Fancy, another lovely mini poodle. We were a breeding pair. Life is still pretty new and a little overwhelming for me, but with time and kindness, I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I’m very shy around people because I didn’t get much socialization early in life. But don’t worry—once I warm up, I become shyly playful, especially with my foster mom. I’m still figuring out this whole “being loved” thing, and patient humans make all the difference. Where I truly shine is with other dogs. If you have a friendly, social dog at home, I bloom into a bouncy, happy boy. Without another dog, I become lonely and unsure—so I must have a canine companion in my forever home. My dream home would even include my bestie Fancy; she’s a slightly bigger version of me, wonderfully outgoing, and she helps me feel brave. My potty training is still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best every day. I am not currently leash trained but working on it. Best in a fenced yard. Evangeline and her two sisters were surrendered to a shelter in Missouri after spending their early days living alone on a farm with little to no human interaction. Their mom is a terrier mix and their dad was a poodle- which makes them... Toodles?! Evangeline is a timid girl who will need time, patience, and love to build her confidence. She would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help show her the ropes and teach her that the world isn’t so scary. She’s still working on her potty training and will need continued support as she adjusts to home life. At 1.5 years old, Evangeline is the confident, wavy-coated leader of her litter. With long, loose curls that bounce as she plays, she turns heads and wins hearts wherever she goes. But Roxy’s beauty is matched by brains—she’s incredibly intelligent and picks up on cues with ease.
