WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Meet Wyatt (that's me!), your next furry BFF! I'm here searching for a family, a home...one I can say will be ALL mine! Since you're reading this, could that possibly mean my family could be with YOU?!! I'm around 2years old which puts me at a fabulous age...out of the puppy destructive stage but still active and playful. I am super sweet and affectionate showering you with all my love!! I am super affectionate in my foster home. I love laying my head in your hand so you can rub the side of my face and ear. I also love snuggling on the couch especially with a nice soft fluffy blanket. I have the cutest lil head tilt when you talk to me! I also do great with the other pups and I mostly just leave the resident kitty alone. I come in at about 10lbs which is also a pawsomely perfect size for, well yes, everything. Neighborhood strolls, mild nature trails, co-piloting errand runs, supervising yard work, you name it I'm the fella for the task at hand!! I will need regular grooming to keep me looking this spectacular! A few weekly brushings and maybe a trip to the groomer every so often is a small price for this much handsomeness in one compact package!! Unfortunately my previous home didn't do that and I had to be shaved the whole way as my coat was super matted. But not to worry, it does grow back... with a little curl to it!! I will make a great companion for a family that is looking for a sweet lil boy that will be your BFF, your lil sidekick in all your life's adventures from mundane daily to weekend exciting!!! Name:  Mickey Age: 9 years Weight: 14 lbs Adoption Fee: $250.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes, other low energy dogs  Good with cats?  Yes  Meet  Mickey , a 9-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart full of love. Despite his blindness and deafness,  Mickey  navigates life with a goofy grin and a mellow attitude. His gentle nature makes him the perfect companion. He may not see or hear you, but he feels your presence, your touch, your kindness. And he will find you if you have food!    Mickey  is a testament to resilience, showing us that joy can be found even in the face of challenges. His happy demeanor and gentle spirit make him an exceptional friend.  Mickey  does well with other low energy dogs, cats, and even made friends with the bunny in his foster home. He's potty trained and loves going for walks. He's also a big fan of toys and enjoys playing just as much as enjoys snuggling up in a comfy bed.    Due to glaucoma,  Mickey  had surgery to remove both his eyes. Once he's healed up, he'll feel much better without the pain and pressure. Blind dogs do very well and it’s easy to forget they can’t see because they navigate around the home so well. To keep him happy and healthy Mickey needs  allergy meds that cost about $45 a month.  Mickey is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $250.00.   He’d love to have a home for the holidays!
