Meet Clifton - a true survivor with the biggest heart! Clifton’s story is one of resilience and hope. He came into rescue as skin and bones, but thanks to love, care, and consistency, he has blossomed into a healthy, happy boy who is truly loving life. Now, he’s ready for a forever home where he can keep thriving. Clifton is almost fully house broken and crate trained. He is sweet, curious, and absolutely full of life and love. He adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs, rarely barks, and is wonderfully well-behaved… though if a shoe is left within reach, he may decide it’s the perfect chew toy (he’s still got that playful puppy streak!). This energetic boy loves long walks—multiple times a day if possible—along with playing fetch, chewing on bones, cuddling with his people, and taking well-earned naps. Exploring the world on walks is one of his favorite things, and he would be thrilled with an active home that enjoys getting out and about. Clifton does best with older kids and would especially love a family that can give him plenty of attention and engagement. His biggest joy is being with his people, and he struggles with being left alone, as he has some separation anxiety. He has learned routines quickly in his foster home and would thrive in a household where someone is home most of the day, can provide daily walks, and lots of love. An ideal home for Clifton would include another small, playful dog to keep him company, help burn off energy, and ease his anxiety when his humans are away. With the right match, Clifton will reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and joy. Story
Tobey has now been living with his foster family for almost a year. Although he had a rough beginning, he has now settled in and has become the most loving member of the family. When he arrived, he was nervous around his foster dad. Over time, his foster dad worked to earn Tobey's trust and it paid off! Strict boundaries were set, and Tobey's foster dad took over feedings and spent more time with him. This allowed him to establish himself as the pack leader and for Tobey to learn his role within the family unit. Tobey understands the house rules and knows where he stands in the pack, and these clear boundaries helped his confidence so much within the house. Now he is all cuddles and kisses, and he is the first one to greet his foster family when they arrive. He is always on the lookout for a lap to lay on and gives the best hugs! He plays well with toys and the other dogs in the house. Tobey can be a little protective when new people come to the house, and his foster mom uses training tools to ensure that the guests feel welcome and to ensure that Tobey doesn't feel like he needs to protect them. Tobey is a GREAT dog - so cuddly and sweet... and he also needs an experienced owner who will continue the training established and keep boundaries in place for Tobey to be the goodest boy that he is in his foster home.He would do best in a quiet home without young children. Say Hello to Roxy! Roxy is a 6-month-old Maltese mix with a big personality packed into a little body. She is spayed and making great progress with potty training. Roxy is crate trained and still learning to walk nicely on a leash, improving more each day. This playful girl absolutely loves games like fetch and tug—and she’ll even toss her own toys into the air to keep herself entertained! When playtime winds down, Roxy turns into a cuddle bug who adores belly rubs and snuggling close to her people. Roxy is smart with a touch of sass. She responds well to her name and already knows “sit” and “come.” Because she’s so clever, continued training will be important to keep her from becoming overly stubborn—she thrives with structure, positive reinforcement, and consistency. Like any puppy, she needs mental stimulation, activity, and attention, and she’ll do best with an active family excited to help her grow. Roxy has no specific or unique needs, but she will require consistent grooming, including regular brushing to prevent matting and routine haircuts. While she doesn’t bark excessively, she does have a surprisingly loud bark for such a little pup!
