Help us welcome sweet Miles, a 12 yo, 14 lb miniature Poodle mix with special needs who just wants to be LOVED! Miles has a slight neurological condition that causes him to sway his head from side to side and affects his walking at times . We are looking for a home with one level living and a fenced-in yard. He is a very loving boy who gives kisses and feels most secure when his human is holding him or sitting with him on the couch. Miles is fine with other dogs and ignores cats. We have not observed him around children but due to his condition, he would do best in an adults only home where someone is home most of the day. Miles knows to go out to the yard to do his business and then wants to be brought back in. He loves his doggie bed and is the king of naps! Everyone say hi to Arfie, a 5 year old 32 lb shih tzu boy. Yes you read that right, Arfie weighs 32 lbs and is in need of a home that will take him on walks and give him the opportunity to shed some much need pounds---with that said this little boy is an " absolute gentleman" according to his foster mom. Arfie came to us after his elderly owner was unable to care for him longer due to her own personal issues----Arfie has come a long way from intake a few months ago when he was all of 39lbs!!! He just wants to please everyone, has excellent house manners and deserves a chance at a great life in a loving home. He gets along with EVERYONE and has yet to meet a person he doesn't wag his little tail at. Arfie apparently had a history of seizures when he was with his previous owner but since we have had him (and put him on medication) he has not had a single one. Top of the day kind folks! My name is Tabitha and I am a 2 year old 11 lb white shih tzu girl in search of my forever home. I was rescued by FCCR with several of my friends (also available for adoption) and now we are in the best of hands! Foster mom says I am a sweet and beautiful girl- quiet, demure, and most of all loyal. I am still coming out of my shell and can be somewhat shy at first but that's because everything is still so new to me - I just need to feel at home and then my full loving personality will shine thru for everyone to see!!! I am also working on my housetraining and leash skills, and with my human by my side to encourage and love me, those too I will master---I am a smart girl!
