Looks like: Shih Tzu Male, 13 years old (estimated), 19 pounds Adorable Brando would like to make you an offer you can't refuse! He is looking for a calm home with a sunbathing spot, belly rubs and treats, and slow, sniffy walks surveying his territory. In exchange, he can offer you a super easygoing, mellow temperament: he's good on leash, comfortable being left alone, not vocal, gets along with cats, and gets along with other dogs (though he is more interested in being a couch potato than playing). Brando is a friendly guy who loves meeting new people and loves to be handled and snuggled with. Bonus? Glimpses of his adorable tongue sticking out even when he's asleep. Brando may be spry for his age, but he would prefer to be in a home where the main focus is relaxing. Are you ready to welcome this cutie as the godfather of your home? Brando came to us as a stray picked up by Ventura County Animal Services.

Looks like: Shih Tzu mix Male, 6 years old (estimated), 14 pounds Meet Bruce, the toughest little man on earth. Bruce came to POMDR in rough shape, needing multiple surgeries including an eye removal. This sweetheart is currently recovering in his wonderful foster home. She describes Bruce as an absolute lovebug looking for his forever velcro person! Bruce LOVES car rides, beach walks and couch snuggles. He will do best in a home with someone who has plenty of time and attention to give him. Bruce also does extremely well meeting new dogs! Bruce will need a home without children. Could you be Bruce's new forever person? We would love to find out!

Looks like: Poodle, Shih Tzu mix Male, 13 years old (estimated), 9 pounds Little wild child Donny is an absolute wonder. This adorable little man has been through a lot in his days and is currently a bit wobbly on his feet. We hope this condition is something temporary and he comes out a happy little guy after. Resilient little Donny was surrendered to Hitchcock Road Animal Shelter as his guardian was no longer able to meet his medical needs.
