Story
Cobe is a smart 15 year old Shih-Tzu poodle mix that was adopted from a local animal shelter over 12 years ago. He is 13 pounds and is crate-trained. Cobe knows basic commands and is motivated by snacks. He is good with children and all animals. Cobe is healthy and enjoys leisurely walks and taking naps throughout the day. He has received his check-ups annually and is current on all his vaccines. Cobe's current owners will be moving out of state soon and cannot take him. They are very sad about leaving him and want to make sure they find him a loving home before they move at the end of March.

Story
Meet Alex! Alex is a delightful 4-month-old puppy looking for his forever family. He got a rough start in life, given away far too young in front of a convenience store in Fresno. Thankfully, a kind soul intervened, keeping Alex and his siblings safe with their mama. Now thriving in foster care in the Bay Area, Alex is ready to find a home filled with love and adventure. This adorable, likely Shih Tzu-dachshund mix weighs about 6 pounds and is expected to grow to 14 pounds or less, just like his mama, a dachshund Chiweenie. While his dad is a mystery, he must have had some non-shedding genes, giving Alex a low-shed coat that doesn’t require professional grooming but will benefit from regular brushing. Personality & Looks: Alex is one of the two boys in the litter, with a striking salt-and-pepper coat that’s primarily black. He’s spunky, affectionate, and loves to wrestle and play. Alex is dog-, cat-, and kid-friendly, making him a wonderful fit for many family dynamics. He’s almost ready to start formal training and walks and will thrive in a home that provides structure, time, and plenty of opportunities for playtime. Alex would do best in a home with another dog to learn from and keep him entertained, as he’s happiest with a constant play companion. We’re looking for a family who: - Has the time and resources to commit to training and socialization. - Doesn’t work 8-hour days outside the home. - Has a yard for Alex to romp in. Alex has come so far and deserves the very best. If you’re ready for unconditional love and puppy antics, Alex might be your perfect match! In the event your application isn't accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. Your application remains active for 90 days, allowing consideration for other dogs in our care. Simply email us if there is another dog you would like your application to be applied to. Story
Meet Raisin Meet Raisin! Raisin is an adorable 6–8-month-old poodle mix with a soft, curly, non-shedding coat—perfect for someone looking for a low-shedding companion (though she’ll need regular grooming to keep her looking her best!). This sweet girl came to us as a surrender from Fresno, where she was living in a tough situation. Thankfully, that’s all behind her now, and she’s thriving in her foster home in the Bay Area. Weighing in at around 15-18 pounds now full-grown she could be up to 24 Raisin is the perfect size for cuddles on the couch or adventures on the go. She’s a wiggly, happy pup who loves everyone she meets—dogs, kids, and adults alike. Raisin is eager to please and full of love, always ready to shower you with kisses, especially if there are kids around! Since she’s still a young puppy, Raisin doesn’t have much formal training yet, but she’s a quick learner who will thrive with a family committed to teaching her basic manners, house training, and crate training. She rides well in the car and is excited to explore the world, even though she hasn’t had many life experiences so far. Raisin’s playful, affectionate nature makes her a fantastic family dog. With a little patience, love, and guidance, she’ll blossom into the perfect companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, wiggly pup to add to your family, Raisin is ready to meet you and find her forever home!
