Bio: Meet Carly! Carly joins us from our friends in Midland Texas! She is a senior chi mix with a love of the outdoors! Carly enjoys running in the yard, and sniffing all the sniffs! Carly is blind, so she will need you to stay with her if your yard is not fenced. (She has eye drops to help keep her comfortable). She has no trouble walking on a leash. Carly also has diabetes. This is regulated by receiving insulin twice daily, and eating a special food. Dogs with Diabetes will also require glucose curves at the discretion of their vet, to ensure the insulin dose is where it should be. Her care is is easy peasy, and developing a routine happens rapidly. Carly is fostered with several other dogs. She will grumble at them initially, but stops when you say her name and seems to adjust rather quickly. She has no trouble getting on furniture and likes to just hang out.
