Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Yoshi from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 2 year old  male Shiba Inu.  I weigh approximately 13 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,795 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
This sweet 4-year-old mixed-breed dog has a wonderfully calm demeanor and a gentle soul. She adores the company of other dogs and is especially bonded with my other dog, so it would be ideal for them to find a home together. While she can be a little timid when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and has never shown a hint of aggression—she hasn’t even growled. She’s great with kids, perfectly neutral around cats, and would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can continue to feel safe and secure alongside her best friend. I love her to pieces, but have taken on a new job that keeps me away from home many hours of the day. I am sad to let her go, but know it is best for her to find her a loving new home with a family that is able to devote time to be with her.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Rabong🍊 Rabong miraculously survived the wildfire in Andong. Although she escaped with her life, her little paws were badly burned, requiring surgery and long-term treatment. Despite her injuries, Rabong remained cheerful throughout her hospital stay. Seeing her resilience, ADogs decided to rescue her in hopes she would soon find a loving family. • With People: Rabong is the definition of a happy puppy! She adores people and greets everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and friendly charm, as if she already knows them. • With Dogs: She shows curiosity and often approaches other dogs to play. If the other dog is uninterested or aggressive, she doesn’t push or react. She has a gentle, non-confrontational nature. • With Cats: Even when swatted by a cat, Rabong remains calm and quiet—she’s a peace-loving sweetheart. • Separation: She’s still a young puppy, so her response may vary by environment. Ongoing training will be important. • Potty Training: She’s being trained for indoor potty use, though outdoor potty is preferred at the shelter. As a puppy, she’ll need consistent training. 💌Special Notes💌 • Rabong has an adorable habit of watching TV or phone screens with curiosity—as if she’s trying to ❗Health Status❗ • Spayed: Not yet • Notes: Rabong suffered severe burns on her paws during a wildfire and received stem cell treatment. She’s now fully recovered but still needs regular moisturizing care to keep the affected areas hydrated.

Story
Name - Philip Gender - Male Spay/Neuter - Yes Breed - Shiba Inu Weight - Approx 35-40lbs Vaccinations - Up to date DOB: 11/19/2016 Rehoming fee - Not needed Location - Lacey, but willing to bring him to you within reason. Philip is an extremely sweet and cuddly boy. I have had him with me since 2017 when he was a puppy. Philip loves human interaction and will treat every stranger like he’s known and loved them for forever. He’s lived with another Shiba Inu for his entire life, they’ll have a barking argument every now and then but besides that it’s been a loving friendship. If possible though, he’d enjoy it the most being a single pet. He listens and is house and kennel trained, he actually loves his kennel and will spend his time in there to go to sleep. He’s a great walker, doesn’t pull you unless he sees a squirrel and would like to chase it.

Story
Hi there! My name is Anna, and I’m a 2-year-old bundle of love with a mix of Shiba Inu and Jindo in me. I was rescued just in time from a shelter where I was sadly scheduled for euthanasia, and now I’m patiently waiting for a fresh start — maybe with you! I’m a bright, open-hearted girl who loves people, even ones I’ve just met! I don’t hesitate to walk right up and say hello, showering new friends with affection. If you have treats, even better — they are my favorite thing! Treats help me bond quickly with new humans, so building a connection with me will be full of sweet moments and happy tail wags. I’m also a social butterfly with other dogs! I love to play and can easily adjust to group environments without stress. Whether it’s romping around with friends or just hanging out together, I know how to be a good companion. Right now, I’m used to doing my business both indoors and outdoors, so when I move to a new home, I might need a little extra guidance with potty training. But don’t worry — I’m still young, and with a little patience and encouragement, I’ll settle into a good routine in no time. I’m full of energy, love, and a huge heart just waiting for the right family to share it with If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, affectionate best friend to stand by your side, I’m ready to meet you. Please open your heart and home to me — I promise to fill your life with love and joy! 🐾 Love, Anna
