Story
Yoshi is a sweet 8 year old Shiba Inu who has been part of our family since 2018. He is a Velcro dog who loves nothing more than snuggling and getting pets. He has become increasingly anxious around our toddler and despite our best efforts (Rx anxiety medication, CBD, and consulting with a behaviorist) he is still uncomfortable living with a small child. It is not fair to continue to subject him to this environment as his anxiety attacks have worsened and become more frequent. While he has never acted out or tried to bite, we are very concerned that he is living in a perpetual state of discomfort. This is an incredibly tough decision for us to make, as we believe pet ownership is a lifetime commitment. Yoshi shows no anxiety symptoms when our toddler is at school and would likely do well in a home with older children (middle school aged and above). Again, he has shown ZERO aggression but we know in our hearts that the current living situation is not humane or sustainable for him.

Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
