Story
Ichiban is a 4 year old Shiba Inu pup born on December 17, 2020! He is such a good boy but is unfortunately the result of a backyard breeding incident and has some behavioral issues as a result. Due to the irresponsible breeding, Ichibans father passed down a food reactive personality to Ichiban. He doesn’t resort to biting right away and he will let out a series of barks to let you know to back off of his dinner. However, if you don’t listen & keep touching his food he will react with a bite. He has only ever bitten someone once & even when he did bite someone it only left a mark. He has never drawn blood or chased someone down to attack them. He reacts strictly out of fear of the unknown. It’s recommended that he has an owner who is experienced with dogs, or even better reactive dogs! We want to be fully transparent about him as we truly want the best for him & for him to live a good life despite his issues. Even after he is adopted we would still love to keep track of him!

Azula is a spicy little nugget of pure personality, brimming with curiosity and determination. Born in October of last year, this spunky gal is currently 4.5 months old and growing fast! She’ll likely top out at around 18-20 lbs once she's all grown up. Azula is already a pro at being crate-trained and house-trained – so she’s got the basics down! While she might not be the best fit for cats or laid-back pups (she loves playtime on her terms and can be a bit of a boss), Azula is looking for a home that can appreciate her sassy spirit. She’s got a strong personality and we’re seeking a family who’s kind, patient, and knows how to help Azula channel her confidence without letting her rule the roost. Azula will not do well in a home with children under the age of 13 and would not do well in a home where she was alone for multiple hours every day. She is at the prime age and wants interaction, adventures, and guidance on becoming a great adult pup!
