Kramer is a distinguished senior gentleman, 13 years young. We think he may be a mix of Shiba Inu and Chihuahua, but that's just our best guess. He was living a perfectly happy and content life until his people became too ill to care for him. Humane Tomorrow promised to find him another forever home. He has settled into the routine at his foster home very well. Kramer loves his meal time, treats, nap time, car rides, snuggling, and evening walks. He is house and crate trained. He gets along with the cats in his foster home, but he mostly stays out of their way. Kramer would be an excellent only dog, but he may do fine with an older, laid back dog. He likes to snuggle on his own terms, but he not like to be picked up or held. Kramer qualifies for our senior discount fee, so please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

He has done well around other dogs his size and smaller, and he’s been friendly with people, though he can be a bit head‑shy at times. Because of this, we would not recommend him for homes with young children who may not understand boundaries.We took Kuma in from a local animal control facility, and after a full exam, our veterinary team noted no concerns, and his labwork came back unremarkable. He has been cleared as healthy and is ready for a fresh start. Sora, like most Shiba Inus, loves being outside and running around when hyper. She is fully mature at 7 years old (she'll turn 8 in October). She does well with our kids (12, 10, and 17 months!) and visitors. She is aloof but very sweet and will come when called, a normal characteristic of her breed. She is trained to come, sit, and wait on command. Although, we haven't strictly enforced the "wait" command with her. Ideally, her new home would have plenty of space to run around. We are open to negotiation on the adoption fee.

Shrimp is an approximately 1.5-year-old, 38-pound dog who is currently part of our Diamond Dog program, a designation given to dogs who have been in the shelter for over 90 days without being adopted. He came to us alongside his brother after their family was no longer able to care for them. Shrimp is a dog-friendly, sweet, and gentle companion who is eager to form a meaningful connection with his person. He is still building confidence and will benefit from a patient and consistent home that can help him continue to grow and thrive. With the right environment, Shrimp has the potential to develop into a deeply loyal and loving companion. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
