Story
Grizzly is a mature little man. He is house-trained. He knows sit, stay, and shake. He goes in his kennel for bed and for safekeeping when at home with no humans. Grizzly loves naps, treats, and playing ball. When we say loves to play ball, he’ll bounce the rubber ball all around the house, chasing it wherever it goes! Grizzly does not like being startled, loud noises, or being ignored. He walks well on leash and has no problems going potty outside. He rides quietly in the car. His back legs are as mature as his soul, so some pet stairs are perfect to help this independent boy onto the couch. Grizzly would do best in a quiet home or apartment where he can hang with his humans and travel along with them whenever they go on adventures. I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
We took in this dog 2 years ago when he appeared on our doorstep. We've been having a hard time getting him to adjust to us, it's a struggle to get him to even come in the house. Not sure if he was abused before us or not. Lately, we've been having trouble with him picking fights with our other dog, as well as getting out of the fence. We have reenforced the fence with chicken wire and rocks, and he still digs his way out daily. We just want to find a loving home for him that can properly provide for and train and love him.

Story
Rehoming Shiba Inu - Akane (5 years old, Spayed) Hi guys! With a lot of pain in my heart my husband and I decided to rehome our 5 year old red female Shiba, Akane. She’s very sweet, funny, playful and loves to be the center of attention. She needs a more active family with a yard and patience as Shibas are stubborn by nature. Just a heads up, she grew up during the COVID pandemic and she’s not the most social dog. She gets nervous around new dogs at first so we encourage introducing new friends to her little by little. She’s not aggressive, but has come forward as unexpected.

Story
Suki is almost 3. She is loyal, goofy, & affectionate with humans. She loves being by your side. She’s adjusted to a routine of 20mins morning play, settling calmly during the workday, an hour afternoon jog/walk, followed by evening play before bed, but also loves additional adventures. Suki is potty trained, no separation anxiety, and picks up on all training quickly. She has monthly Simparica Trio medication, is up to date on shots, and no health issues. She would do best in a single dog home or with an owner who can manage her competitive energy with other dogs. She can be defensive around new dogs, so parks are not recommended & introductions with new dogs should be on leash. She loves running, walking, and playing, making her a great match for an active outdoorsy home. We have had an incredible two years together, but I would like to find her home that ventures outdoors and runs more than I and my first dog can. Adoption includes kennel, bed, tooth brush, harnesses. Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.
