Story
Hi! I'm Jackson! I am a 4 year old Sheba Inu/Husky mix, male, that weighs under 40 Lbs. I was found stray on 02/27/25 by the Harbor in Rockwall off of Summer Lee dr. and sadly never reclaimed. So now I am looking for a new family that will love me fur-ever. I am a very sweet boy! I love my toys and treats but food is my first love! I have good playful energy but I also enjoy cuddles and pets. If you have another dog in the home a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to ensure that we get along before you decide to adopt. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, annual boosters to date, and heartworm test. If you would like to make me part of your family, apply online today at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. RAC staff will be in touch with next steps once your application is submitted.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. March 3, 2025, 6:10 pm

Story
Hi there! My name is Tex! I am a 2 year old male Shiba Inu mix that weighs around 35-40 Lbs. I was originally found in Rockwall County off FM 276. No chip. No collar. My finder kept me for several days hoping to find my owners. Sadly, my owners were never found and my finder was unable to keep me long term. They eventually decided it was best to turn me into the shelter where hopefully I am able to find me a new furever home. I am a very sweet boy that seems to be okay around other dogs. If you have other dogs in the home, a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to ensure we get along before you decide to adopt. Since I am new to the crew, be sure to check back for updates as shelter staff learns more about me. M adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, boosters to date and heartworm test. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Once submitted, RAC staff will be in touch with next steps.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
