Story
Tod is a 1-year-old neutered male Shiba Inu mix with the cutest fox-like face and beautiful red coloring—just like Tod from The Fox and the Hound, which is exactly how he got his name! This handsome boy turns heads everywhere he goes with his adorable looks and sweet personality.Tod absolutely loves being around people and is happiest when he’s out exploring the world with his humans. He walks wonderfully on a leash and truly enjoys going on walks, making him the perfect companion for neighborhood strolls, park adventures, or outdoor café trips.Food is definitely one way to Tod’s heart, and a few tasty treats will have him loving you in no time. He seems to be dog-friendly so far, but as always, a meet and greet is required to ensure a good fit with any potential dog siblings.Tod would likely do great in either an apartment or a house as long as he gets plenty of love, attention, and daily walks. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick with fox-like charm and a loving personality, Tod may be the perfect match for you.

Story
💌 Please Be Mine, Love, Koi 💌 Dear Future Adventure Partner, Hi. It’s me...Koi. I’m a 2-year-old, 40-pound Shiba Inu mix with a curious heart and a perfectly balanced mix of sweet and sassy. I’m writing to see if you might be my forever Valentine? 💘 👇 Here’s what you should know: I love a good movie-night snuggle… but I also take my role as Backyard Patrol Captain very seriously. 🚗 Car rides? I’m in. 🦴 Benebones? My true love language. 🧠 Brains? Oh yes. I’ve got them. 🤨 Stubborn streak? Occasionally. (Keeps things interesting.) I’m a smartypants who likes to learn and loves to please - but I also appreciate being allowed to make my own choices now and then. A girl’s got to have a little independence, right? 💅✨ I get along great with other fun-loving dogs and kids, and my expressive face tends to win people over pretty quickly. Once you’re in my circle, you’re in for life. I’ll be your loyal sidekick, your road trip buddy, your backyard co-pilot, and your couch companion. 💞 So… if you’re ready for a clever, confident, affectionate girl who’s equal parts adventure and cuddle, I’m ready too. All you have to do is say yes. ❤️ Love, Koi 🐾 ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. Story
Kramer is a distinguished senior gentleman, 13 years young. We think he may be a mix of Shiba Inu and Chihuahua, but that's just our best guess. He was living a perfectly happy and content life until his people became too ill to care for him. Humane Tomorrow promised to find him another forever home. He has settled into the routine at his foster home very well. Kramer loves his meal time, treats, nap time, car rides, snuggling, and evening walks. He is house and crate trained. He gets along with the cats in his foster home, but he mostly stays out of their way. Kramer would be an excellent only dog, but he may do fine with an older, laid back dog. He likes to snuggle on his own terms, but he not like to be picked up or held. Kramer qualifies for our senior discount fee, so please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Diamond Dog Alert - Meet Gator Gator has officially been named a Diamond Dog as of 05/04/26, meaning he has been patiently waiting over 90 days for a family to call his own. Because of that, his adoption fee has been reduced to $75 to help him finally get the fresh start he deserves. Gator is an approximately 1.5-year-old Shiba Inu/Shepherd mix weighing around 40 pounds. He came to the Rockwall Adoption Center with his brother, Shrimp, after their family could no longer care for them. While that chapter of his life has closed, Gator is ready to begin a much brighter one. He is a friendly, social dog who enjoys being around people and does well with other dogs. Gator is still building confidence in new situations, but he continues to make steady progress every day. He is currently working on leash training and improving with consistency and positive reinforcement. With patience and guidance, Gator has all the potential to grow into a loyal, confident, and well-rounded companion. Gator is neutered, microchipped, current on rabies and DHLPP vaccinations, and heartworm negative. If you are looking for a sweet dog you can help grow and thrive, Gator may be the perfect fit. Apply to adopt Gator at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ . Gator has been waiting and is ready to take the next step with the right family.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com.
