Story
Chaya was about to be re-homed to a great family who has a male shiba inu. Unfortunately, the family's youngest son became very ill a few days before picking up Chaya & the family could not move forward with taking Chaya. Chaya is a purebred female Shiba Inu, almost 7 years old, born June 26, 2019. She is up to date on all vaccines and comprehensives. Chaya is an excellent watchdog for a small dog. Chaya was trained professionally, as she has anxiety due to a large wall art piece falling that scared her when she was still a very young puppy. Chaya was not injured at all but she jumped the high gate out of fear. Chaya is a very loving dog. Chaya has been socialized with other dogs at Shiba Meetups & dog parks. It is important that she is re-homed to a home that is familiar with the Shiba Inu breed. Shiba inus are natural hunters & should at all times be on a leash if not in a secured area. Shiba Inus are a special breed. Chaya is located in Houston, Texas.

I’m looking to rehome my 4-year-old Shiba Inu to a responsible, stable home. She’s a quiet, independent dog who is house trained, low-energy indoors, and not destructive, and like most Shibas she does best in a calm environment. She has occasional seizures (about once every 3–4 months) but recovers quickly and returns to normal, so she’ll need someone comfortable monitoring her health and keeping up with routine vet care. She would do best in a low-stress household, ideally with someone experienced with dogs or familiar with the breed. This isn’t an easy decision, and my priority is finding her a safe, consistent home. A small rehoming fee applies to ensure serious inquiries.

Story
Meet Jello, our sweet purebred Shiba Inu boy, 3 years and 2 months old. He is neutered, potty trained, and incredibly gentle. He absolutely does not bite and is wonderful around kids and people. He has a calm personality, is not overly hyper, and enjoys daily walks and spending time with family. This is an extremely difficult decision for us, but our family will be relocating to Japan and unfortunately will not have the space or environment needed to properly keep a dog. We truly want to find him a loving, responsible home where he will continue to be cared for and loved. He would do great with a family, couple, or individual looking for a friendly and well-mannered companion.
