Story
Milo’s a 8yo 21lb Shiba Inu mix. He loves kids and ok with other dogs but seems to prefer them not around. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and crate trained. He’s good with a secure fenced in yard and going for harness leashed walks. He loves toys, people especially to cuddle with. He’s loving, loyal, happy and chill. He loves to run and play fetch in his fosters secure fenced in yard. Milo’s foster requires a home with a secure fenced in yard, active people along with giving leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Milo as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Milo’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Jenkintown, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
Meet Oakley — your loyal, ball-loving best friend At around 5½ years old and 40 pounds, Oakley is the perfect mix of beauty and devotion. She’s a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely loves being pet and spending quality time with her person. Once she bonds with you, her loyalty truly shines.Oakley’s favorite activities include playing fetch (she prefers a two-ball system because giving one up is negotiable unless there’s another ready ), going for long walks, and playing tug with her toys. She especially loves being outside, whether she’s exploring or just relaxing alongside someone she loves.Oakley would do best as the only pet in the home and in an adult-only household, where she can feel safe, comfortable, and truly be the center of attention. In the right environment, she will be an incredibly loving and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate dog to share your days with, Oakley might just be your perfect match Apply to adopt Oakley at bcaaofnj.org Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! 💕Foster Update! 💕 “He's doing great! But he's definitely still learning his new world. He's easily spooked from little things but he settles back in well! His favorite thing is to go outside for long walks and runs! He is perfect on the leash and his recall in the house and on the leash is getting really good. He's been coming out of the crate more to another spot by the stairs and goes back and forth. He's really shy interacting with new people and usually prefers not to, but he has been accepting a small scratch! He doesn't mind strange dogs but usually just walks away, but on walks he's tries to play with my resident dog Coda.” ✨Meet Yuki!✨ Yuki came to us after being found as a stray by our friends GoodBoy Dog Recovery. He braved extreme temps and hunger for 10 days in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. GoodBoy Dog Recovery was contacted about him and responded immediately - bringing him to safety from the cold using their thermal drone! Yuki is a 1 year old Shiba Inu who is ready for his forever home! He's decompressing still and has yet to come out of his shell fully, but with some patience and trust, he's destined to be an amazing companion! He's a young dog that will require a family up to the task of providing him the ample physical and mental exercise and training that all dogs require. If you are interested in being considered for them please apply on our website at www.angelsretreat.org 💕🐾 Angel’s Retreat West Chester, PA PA Kennel License 17335

Story
This friend has just arrived because their owner could no longer keep them. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
