Story
Meet Waffles: connoisseur of all that is comfy and cozy. The Danish have a cultural concept known as "hygge" (pronounced HOO-GUH.) It centers on togetherness, warmth, comfort and enjoying the simple pleasures in life in a relaxed atmosphere. Waffles must be Danish because he absolutely embodies all things hygge.Waffles has officially retired from all strenuous activities, including but not limited to: running, drama, and being in a hurry for absolutely anything. This distinguished, experienced Shiba mix is a sweet, chill older gentleman who's life philosophy can be best summed up as "why stand when you could lounge?" His greatest passions include butt scratches, cozy blankets, and achieving championship-level naps in sunny spots around the house. Waffles is tolerant, easygoing and happy to simply vibe beside his people while looking mildly judgmental in the adorable way only a Shiba can. Waffles has fairly simple needs and the only requirement is love. If you're searching for a low-key best friend who treats relaxation like a full-time career, Waffles is ready to report for cuddle duty.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.savehomelessanimals.org. SAVE is operating by appointment-only for approved adopters. For more information please call SAVE at 609-309-5214. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 20.25 Age: 9yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Kili, a delightful senior canine of 10 years, whose sweetness is only surpassed by her playful spirit. Independent yet gentle, Kili has a knack for brightening up the day with her smart antics and loyal companionship. She thrives on regular walks, her tail wagging in joy as she explores the world around her. Kili's favourite pastime? Being pampered with pets, of course! Despite her age, Kili's zest for life is infectious. She's not just a pet, she's a friend for life. If you're looking for a loyal, smart, and playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Kili is the perfect match for you. Her love and loyalty know no bounds, and she's ready to share that with a family who will cherish her as much as she will them. Kili is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch. www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz #mostlymuttzrescue #shibainulove #seniordogsrock #SeekingFurever #fosteringsaveslives #adoptable ##2227095##

Story
• Rescue Story: Meet Ellong 👋 Ellong was found on the streets of South Korea in 2018 and rescued just moments before euthanasia. Against the odds, she survived—and in 2021, she finally found what we all believed was her forever home. Sadly, after four years of being part of a family, Ellong was returned to the shelter. We were heartbroken and confused to hear that she was said not to coexist well with another dog—after four years together. Despite this painful chapter, Ellong remains one of the most well-behaved and gentle dogs at the shelter. She carries no bitterness, only quiet hope. We truly wish for Ellong to find a real forever home this time—one that will stand by her, cherish her, and never abandon her again💛 • Personality: Affectionate, Gentle, Friendly Ellong is full of affection and loves people. She adapts quickly to new places. Energy level is mid-low. • Affinity with - Dogs: Does well around other dogs - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with all people / Hasn't experienced kids, but we believe she would be fine with calm older kids. • Housetrained: Uses pee-pads indoors and the bathroom outdoors. • Walking Manners: Loves sniffing around on walks. • Bathing/Brushing: Good with both • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Quiet • Car Rides: Good with car rides. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No food allergies found so far • Likes/Dislikes: Loves belly rubs the most! • Shedding level (1~10): 6-7 • Health: Ellong is suspected to have grade 1.5 patellar luxation. Maintaining a healthy weight and engaging in regular exercise are recommended to help preserve her current condition. Otherwise, she is a healthy, happy pup ready for her forever family! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
🚨 Monica – grieving, gentle, and running out of time 💔 Monica has already lost everything… and now she’s sitting alone. She came into the shelter with her sister—the only comfort she had left. Then suddenly, her sister was gone. And now Monica waits in her kennel… quiet, confused, and alone. But even after all of that… she is still so incredibly sweet. This beautiful Shiba/Shepherd mix is just 37 lbs—a perfect, manageable size—and has the softest, most loving nature. She enjoys chasing a ball, but what she really wants is someone to love her. She doesn’t ask for much. Just kindness. Patience. A person of her own. ✨ Only 37 lbs ✨ Gentle, affectionate, and loving ✨ Playful but calm ✨ Heartbroken, but still hopeful She has every reason to shut down… but she hasn’t. She’s still choosing love. Please don’t let her grieve—and be overlooked—at the same time. Monica deserves to leave the shelter not in loss… but in the arms of someone who will never let her go. 🐾 Be the one who saves her.
