Story
We got Luca as a puppy in 2020 but we really feel like he needs a home with a big yard and lots of space beyond what we can provide in an NYC apartment. He’s high energy and loves to play fetch with tennis balls. He does have separation anxiety and we are looking for a committed adopter that will continue his training. We live in Brooklyn and recently our jobs are both requiring us to tend to travel quite a bit more so we have to make arrangements for each time we are away. Although we’re heartbroken we know it’s in his best interest and we just want to find a family and new forever home that can give him all the love and consistent attention he needs. He is microchipped and neutered and up to date on all his vaccines. He’s now 4 years old and weighs 30 lbs.

Story
I am looking for a loving and experienced home for my dog, Teddy, who has been a part of our family for 12 years. He is truly a fun, loving dog. It has been a hard decision, as I love him deeply and have cherished our time together. However, due to his increasing food aggression, I have me to the difficult realization that I can no longer provide the care and environment he needs. Over time, his food aggression has worsened, and it has started to affect our home environment. He has shown possessiveness over food, which has led to situations where my family and I feel unsafe, especially around mealtimes. Despite trying to manage this behavior, I found that I am no longer able to address it in a way that ensures everyone's safety and well-being. This decision isn't easy, and it breaks my heart to part with him. Teddy deserves a home where he can be understood and receive the attention and care he needs to thrive. I am hoping to find an experienced pet owner that can adopt him.

Story
**Located in Korea** Meet Glinda! She is surely going to be pop-u-lar! Rescue Story: As a puppy, she went home with a family that had four children. The kids begged to have a dog and, without any preparation, they family decided to adopt. As she grew, she began to shed, and the children became frightened. They decided to tie her up in the parking lot and left her there, neglected, for two years. The family that adopted her said that they couldn't take her with them when they moved, so she was abandoned in a parking lot and was unfortunately infected with heartworm (which has since been cured!) More About Glinda: Energy Level (1-10): 6.5 3 Keywords: Playful, Affectionate, Smart She barks when strangers visit, and sometimes barks as if she's talking when she wants something - a great communicator! When she goes for a walk, she gets scared when motorcycles or loud cars pass by. She's afraid of machine noises. However, she walks well without pulling on the leash. Despite her fear of loud noises when walking, her foster thinks she would do just fine living in the city. Favorite Things: She enjoys sniffing around and exploring! Apply to make Glinda your fateful sidekick today! ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
