Story
Milo is around 7 years old Shiba Inu / American Eskimo mix who came from a puppy mill. Because of his background, he’s a unique little guy who needs the right environment but when he feels safe, he’s incredibly loving. 🐾 About Milo: • Gets along well with other dogs his size. He isn’t necessarily dominant but he will nip at times if others are in his space. • Would do great in a home with or without other dogs • Not recommended around small animals. Not sure about cats. • Once he bonds with you, he becomes very cuddly but he also values his personal space • Needs a secure fenced-in yard (he does NOT walk on a leash) • Okay with kids; he mostly ignores them and would do well with school-aged children. • Low-maintenance, quiet, and independent Milo deserves a calm, patient home where he can feel safe, decompress, and be loved on his own terms.

Story
Meet Kato; Our Loving Shiba Inu Looking for a New Home Kato was born in Nebraska and has been with us since he was a tiny puppy. He has been a loyal companion all his life and is now 5 years old. Kato loves his daily walks, enjoys cuddle time, and still has plenty of playful energy. He is house-trained, does all his business outside, and knows a few fun tricks like sit, fetch, and roll over. Kato eats regular dog food, and his favorite treat is cheese! He’s a sweet and smart boy who thrives on attention and companionship. Rehoming him has been one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make. With two young children (ages 4 and 2) and another baby due in December, we simply cannot give Kato the time and attention he deserves. Our hope is to find him a loving family who can provide him with the care, activity, and affection that he’s used to. We’d love to meet you on the weekends and bring Kato along so you can see if it’s the right connection.

Story
Meet Bear — The Tiny-Eared Lionheart! They call me Bear because my ears make my face look like a tiny bear — and honestly, it’s pretty cute. I’m a loyal, smart boy who knows all my basic commands and absolutely loves treats and hanging out with my special person.I’m a Shiba Inu/Spitz mix, which means I’ve got a big personality in a compact body. I can be unsure around some dogs, and I’ll growl or bark when I feel uncomfortable. I’m also protective of my person and sometimes my toys — and please don’t touch my ears. Because of this, a home without kids is the best fit for me.When I’m alone, I’m actually very relaxed. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and happiest when I have a quiet place to rest, a toy to chew, and someone I trust nearby. I love walking on a leash, exploring the outdoors, and being totally silly when I get to play in the sand. Why you’ll love Bear:• Knows all basic commands• Potty and crate trained• Loyal and protective companion• Loves walks, toys, and outdoor fun• Silly, sweet, and full of personality• Respect his ears, and he’ll give you his whole heartBear is looking for a calm, adult-only forever home where he can feel safe, respected, and deeply loved.
