Story
Ashi is a sweet, quirky, hilarious boy. He's got a lot of personality, sort of like the comic relief character in sitcoms that's a hypochondriac about everything. He's skittish yet independent and proud. He's clean and NEVER barks. He's mostly happy just hanging out near you. He does like to play with other dogs but isn't the greatest at reading the room for when they don't wanna play anymore. He does have epilepsy so he needs medicine to prevent seizures.

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMALS PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Meet Eiko! Eiko is the most gentle and loving girl. She is in a foster home and thriving there. She has some skin issues that cause her to itch but she is being treated and is looking better and better every day. Her foster is doing so good with her and says that with the medication and treatments, Eiko's skin will hopefully be back to normal in 6 to 8 weeks. Eiko is the sweetest girl and just wants someone to spoil her. Could that be you? From Eiko:Hi there, Im Eiko, a 10-year-old Shiba Inu girl looking for my forever home! I may be a bit older, but dont let that fool youI still have plenty of spunk left in me! I love going on walks and prancing around the neighborhood like I own the place. Im a bit of an independent lady sometimes, but I also love being by your side, especially in the kitchen!Im house-trained, leash-trained, and potty trained, and I dont chew or get into any trouble when Im home alone. You can go to work worry-free! I do have a little skin condition that needs some extra love and care. I get medicated baths twice a week, and while I tolerate them, Im not a huge fan! But my skin is getting better every day thanks to my special salmon diet and medicine. My ideal home? Id love to have an older couple who can take me on walks and give me lots of love. Im good with big dogs, so a dog sibling would be awesome! But no cats or young kids, please. Id do great in an apartment or a home with a small yard. If youre looking for a sweet, loyal companion whos eager to please and loves to cuddle, Im your girl! Cant wait to meet you! Love, Eiko Adoption FEE: $250 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. Story
MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogsRASCAL! Rascal and his momma Reba were picked up as strays and taken to the shelter where HUNDREDS of animals already were and HUNDREDS MORE continued to pour in. As we made arrangements to find places for them both, the shelter was overwhelmed with too many residents, zero open kennels, and they began to euthanize. Being a county shelter in Georgia, they’re simply not allowed to turn away animals… Rascal’s momma lost her life and the urgency to save Rascal intensified. We can’t stress enough how FOSTERING SAVES LIVES. Without a dedicated safe space, we could not have pulled this boy in time. But, thanks to his foster Momma, we did! When Rascal first arrived he was understandably terrified and shut down. With the help of his foster pack, he doesn’t even remember being that guy! Rascal has had the life we all dream of since becoming a Maxx kid. He’s living on a farm with donkeys and birds and horses and cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. He’s a friend to all! Rascal is CRAZY smart. He LOVES watching tv and learning new commands. He LOVES playing chase and exploring his abode. In a forever home, he will need a fenced yard and a playmate doggie friend. Rascal is going to make some lucky family the VERY best dog and we want to help close the loop on his former life by beginning his new one. It’s terrible we couldn’t save Reba in time but we know she is watching over Rascal and is oh so happy he’s got a chance to be happy and safe all the days of his long life. She worked so hard to protect him while she raised him out in the elements without any help from anyone… we are glad to carry that torch for her now. If you’re interested in giving Rascal the very best home, the home he deserves, the home Reba deserved also… please apply @ maxxandme.orgNovember 3, 2024, 8:21 pm
