This is Odin, a 3-year-old purebred Shiba Inu we brought from Japan. He has a Japanese pedigree certification. Odin has a cat-like personality—joyful, energetic, and independent. We’ve raised Odin since he was 3 months old, surrounding him with so much love and care. This decision has been extremely difficult for us. However, we recently welcomed twin babies, and it has become challenging to meet Odin’s needs. He requires daily exercise and has strong food aggression/resource guarding. As our babies become more mobile, there is a risk they may approach his food or toys, and that may not be safe. *Strictly no dogs and no small kids in your home, please.* Odin also experiences anxiety during moves. Due to my husband’s job, we must relocate frequently, sometimes internationally, and we feel this has been stressful for him. Our hope is to find a responsible, loving home that will care for Odin with the same love and dedication we have always given him. Thank you for considering Odin.
