Story
Nikki is a beautiful 10-year-old senior girl with the heart and energy of a much younger dog. Owner-surrendered later in life, Nikki is now looking for a patient, loving home where she can truly settle in and enjoy her next chapter. She’s a sweet, intelligent companion who becomes increasingly affectionate and playful as she gains trust. Once comfortable, Nikki loves leaning in for pets, resting her head on your lap, and gently asking for attention.Despite her senior status, Nikki still enjoys an active lifestyle and would thrive with adopters who appreciate daily walks, jogging, or outdoor adventures. She especially loves exploring on walks where she can stop, sniff, and take in the world around her. Nikki walks nicely on leash overall, though she can occasionally pull and may react to certain triggers such as some other dogs, joggers, or fast-moving activity. Practicing calm avoidance and giving her space helps her stay relaxed and successful on walks. At home, Nikki is wonderfully well behaved and fully potty trained. She can be trusted to roam freely when left alone and settles nicely indoors. She enjoys having a cozy, quiet “safe space” to retreat to when she wants downtime, but she has also become more confident about relaxing near her people. Nikki rides well in the car and enjoys outings, though her future family should know she’s a clever girl who has figured out how to roll down car windows—so child locks are recommended! Nikki will also need a secure yard, if left unsupervised, as she’s a clever and curious pup who likes to investigate what’s beyond the fence line.Nikki would do best in an adult or older-teen home with experienced adopters who understand reactive dogs and can continue helping her feel safe and secure. She has successfully lived alongside other calm dogs, generally preferring peaceful coexistence over active play. She’s not especially interested in toys, but she is deeply interested in companionship, routine, and being part of a caring household.Nikki is a loyal, sensitive, and loving dog who still has so much life, personality, and companionship to offer. She will be an incredibly rewarding best friend.

Story
**About Koda:** Thank you for interested in adopting Koda. Please know that Koda is an international rescue through South Korea. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Personality: Koda is cheerful and energetic. He can be a bit competitive with dogs at a similar energy level but is gentle with older dogs. While he has built a strong bond with his foster, he can be wary of strangers. He should not be let off-leash as he avoids capture or close contact without it. He is generally cautious in new situations but shows resilience and adapts well over time. Koda does well with both children and adults. He may be nervous at first, but after 4–5 days he warms up and becomes affectionate. He has a tendency to chase stray cats, so living with cats may not be suitable. Car Rides: Travels well in the car without issues. Housebreaking: Prefers outdoor potty. Alone Time: May whine a little and bark at outside noises, but settles down. Leash & Walks: Currently in leash training. He may try to run after birds or small animals, so caution is needed. Coming from a street life, he is wary of cars and waits for them to pass even from a distance. - Koda is shy at first, but adapts quickly and shows strong affection once trust is built. - Shows some “one-person dog” tendencies, bonding closely with the foster. - Naturally energetic and active due to his young age, but he has good self-control. Koda is ready to find his forever loving home. If you’re interested in him, please feel free to reach out to us anytime!

Story
🐾 Meet Wiley 🐾 In seattle. 📌 Basic Profile 🐶 Name: Wiley 🐕 Breed: Jindo mix 🎂 Age: 3 years ⚖️ Weight: 23.6 kg (52 lb) 🚹 Gender: Male (neutered) 🎨 Color: Cream beige --- 💛 Personality & Charm Wiley is a smart and charming boy who truly enjoys learning. Training keeps him happy and mentally engaged, and he quickly picks up new skills. He already knows many commands such as sit, stay, come, lie down, quiet, and shake, and he’s always eager to learn more. Because of his past, Wiley needs time to build trust. Once he feels safe, he forms a deep bond and shows affection in his own gentle way. He is soft in play and has a goofy personality that often makes his people laugh. Wiley is happiest outdoors — especially if he has space to run or wildlife to observe. He could spend hours quietly watching squirrels and birds. He’s curious, intelligent, and content with a routine-filled life that includes outdoor time and peaceful surroundings. He is cautious with new people at first, but once he warms up, he becomes affectionate with both men and women. He takes treats gently and is very sensitive to human emotions. If someone close to him feels upset, he will wag his tail and try to comfort them. --- 🩺 Health & Care Wiley is in excellent health and fully up to date on vaccinations. Takes a monthly oral flea and tick preventative (he is uncomfortable with topical applications). Occasionally may vomit if his stomach is empty too long, so he receives a small snack after waking and before bedtime. Maintains dental health with special treats, toys, and food. Uses a scratch board for nail care when given the command “paw” — he has not needed traditional nail trimming in over two years. Naturally clean and keeps his coat tidy on his own. He has never required a bath. Still building comfort with brushing and ear cleaning, but has made great progress through cooperative care training. --- 🐾 Compatibility 👶 Children: Best suited for a home without young children. While he enjoys affection, if he does not want interaction at a certain moment, he may respond by snapping. 🐶 Other Dogs: Does well with calm, respectful dogs. Not comfortable with overly energetic or pushy dogs. Should be fed separately due to resource guarding with food and treats. 🐱 Cats: Not recommended due to high prey drive. --- 🎓 Training & Behavior ✔️ Potty Training: Fully trained — no accidents in over two years. ✔️ Crate Training: Not crate trained; prefers open areas. No separation anxiety and can stay home alone for hours calmly. ✔️ Car Rides: Calm and improving. Previously had motion sickness as a puppy; still takes preventive meclizine for long trips. ✔️ Leash Walking: Calm and non-reactive toward people and dogs. May become excited when spotting squirrels or cats, so a firm grip is helpful. ✔️ Barking: Rarely barks; usually only to alert. ✔️ Energy Level: Medium — enjoys two walks daily and plenty of nap time. ✔️ Destructive Behavior: None. --- 🏡 Ideal Home Wiley would thrive in a peaceful, patient household with people who understand and respect his independent nature. A secure yard or safe outdoor space where he can explore and watch wildlife would make him happiest. To the right family, Wiley will offer deep loyalty, intelligence, and quiet companionship. 🐾💛
