At first, she was scared of people, but now she happily runs over when called and loves to play with her friends. She is simply waiting for a warm, loving hand to reach out to her. With love and care, she will shine even brighter! Cream is eagerly waiting for her forever home. Would you like to be the lucky one to welcome her into your family? Story
Buddy is an adorable Shiba Inu with a heartbreaking past. He grew up in a home where he was loved before, but unfortunately has had an experience of being abandoned, leaving him with a pain in his heart. Despite his past abandonment, Buddy is very loyal and forms a strong attachment to his owner. He is not shy or timid around strangers and he shows his charming and loving side to those close to him, especially to his owner. He is less interested in interacting with other dogs, and he has a natural instinct to protect his owner when other dogs approach. Because of this, you need to be careful in public places such as dog parks and be careful not to let other dogs around you get too close. Buddy patiently takes baths and will happily get brushed as well, and while he tends to pull on the leash excitedly on walks, he is currently in training and is expected to gradually improve. He can sometimes act selfishly with his toys so he needs an owner who can teach him the right behavior through training and reinforcement. Buddy, who has a jealous nature and a tendency to follow only his owner, should be raised in a home as an only pet. It is also advisable that he should be adopted by someone who understands the characteristics of Shiba Inu. He needs an owner who will form a deep bond with him through continuous training and love. If you are ready to welcome Buddy into your home, he will bring you special love and happiness. To see more videos:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyEuMiuW6Ww4Jl3J1CCMCIBINbfi-gsTN

Story
Teddy is looking for a new forever home! He is currently in Abbotsford, BC. Teddy is a Playful, energetic, loving boy who is always up for a game tug of war! He gets along well with other dogs. Teddy can be shy and cautious when he meets new people but will become affectionate and loyal after some time. He will take more time with men than women. Ted has not been around children recently, but lived with children in his previous foster home and loved them! He will jump up due to excitement but will calm down when you say no or sit. When strangers come into his home, he will bark initially and needs a while to settle. Needs work on coming when called and commands. But warms up to people over time. Teddy is a flight risk and can be startled by some sounds and new environments, but eventually settles after some adjusting time. He does not like his paws being touched, and needs some time to be eased into nail trimming. Teddy loves to watch birds and chases small animals like rabbits and squirrels, but is learning how to stay by his handlers’ side with some training. He is fully potty trained outdoors. This playful pup has a high energy level and loves his playtime, but also can chill out between bursts and relaxes at home. Teddy knows what toys are his and will chew and rip his stuffy toys, but never destroys furniture or anything he isn’t supposed to in his home. Teddy’s mom and her puppies were found on the street in the midst of the freezing weather. View more photos and videos on Facebook: Link to Post Does Teddy sound like the right companion for you? Story
Meet Buddy, the charming Shiba Jindo mix with a heart as warm as his soft brown coat! At 1 year old and weighing 13.5kg, this handsome boy is ready to find his forever family. Buddy’s story began on the streets, where he followed neighborhood dogs on their walks, wagging his tail and eagerly trying to make friends. His gentle nature made him a beloved figure in the community, and he was saved from the threat of a dog meat trader. Buddy is a natural social butterfly, both with people and dogs. He’s not shy about approaching strangers for pets and will happily lean in for affection. Whether it’s men, women, or children—even those as young as 13—Buddy welcomes everyone with a wagging tail and even enjoys belly rubs from new friends. The only time he’s shown a hint of caution is around men carrying sticks, likely a memory from his time on the streets. With other dogs, Buddy is equally friendly, always eager to say hello and invite them to play. He gets along best with dogs his size but doesn’t mind smaller pups either. However, if another dog picks a fight, Buddy won’t back down—so a little supervision during first meetings is recommended. He currently lives harmoniously with a cat and shows no signs of prey drive. Buddy has a medium energy level—he loves his walks and outdoor playtime, but once the fun is over, he’s more than happy to curl up and relax. He’s well-mannered indoors, plays independently with his toys, and sleeps soundly. On walks, he can pull on the leash when he’s excited but is overall responsive and easy to manage. While Buddy shows no resource guarding towards people, he can get a little protective of his food around other dogs—understandable after fending for himself on the streets. He rarely barks, only letting out a few excited woofs when he’s thrilled to see you or wishes he could tag along on an outing. Buddy is fully house-trained for outdoor potty only and rides quietly in the car, even hopping in on his own when invited. With his affectionate personality, gentle heart, and playful spirit, Buddy is ready to bring endless love and joy to his future family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll greet you with wagging tails and warm snuggles, Buddy might just be your perfect match! Story
Jisu is a 6-year-old spayed Shiba Jindo mix girl with a lovely brown and white coat, weighing a petite 9kg. She was found wandering at the summit of Homyeong Lake, located 535m up Mt. Homyeongsan in Gapyeong, without a collar. This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and loves people—both familiar faces and friendly strangers alike! She’ll happily come over for pets, leaning in close and soaking up attention without hesitation. Jisu enjoys being touched and has no issues with handling, though she’s not too fond of being picked up with an arm under her belly just yet. She’ll squirm a bit when held, but not in a panic—she’s practicing daily and making progress. She hasn’t had experience with children under 13, so introductions to little ones would need to be slow and thoughtful. Jisu is just as social with other dogs! She enjoys meeting both new and familiar pups, greeting everyone with a wag and an invitation to play. She especially gets along well with larger dogs and has a gentle, easygoing nature that helps her get along with just about anyone. Even if another dog gets pushy or sits on her by mistake (it happens!), she remains calm and unbothered. If tensions arise, Jisu simply walks away—no drama here! In playgroups, she mingles well and makes friends easily. She’s also cat-approved—Jisu has been tested with cats and passed with flying colors! With a moderate energy level, Jisu loves her outdoor adventures but settles down nicely afterward. She’s a pro at walking on leash and doesn’t pull, preferring to stop and sniff her surroundings rather than rush ahead. She’s not fazed by people, dogs, cars, or bicycles during walks and takes everything in stride. Jisu isn’t possessive over food with people or other dogs and rarely barks. She rides calmly in a crate and typically does her business outside. Having likely lived on the streets before, she has a habit of scavenging food off the ground during walks, so her adopter should be mindful of that as she continues her training. She recently had a dental exam and scaling, and the vet found she has enamel hypoplasia, which makes her teeth a bit yellow—but don’t worry, it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life! Jisu is the perfect mix of friendly, mellow, and loving, just waiting to find her forever home. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Dana🖤 She was brought to Korean city shelter pregnant and gave birth to 8 puppies. They were rescued all together. While all of well-raised puppies found their forever families and left the Adogs Center, only Dana stayed to wait for her family. * With People: Tends to be shy at first, but opens up quickly if people approach her slowly. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes affectionate and enjoys asking people to pet her. Due to some past trauma, she is a bit afraid of adult men. * With Dogs: Gets along well with her dog friends without any issues, but she may growl with jealousy if another dog intervenes. She is currently undergoing training to manage her anger when a dog friend doesn’t respond to her invitation to play. * Potty Training: Has only outdoor potty breaks at the center. * Growls from time to time when she feels jealous of another dog friend or if the dog ignores her signal to play, so caution is necessary. * Is afraid to be trapped alone in the room, so she needs separation anxiety training from the start.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Gowoon🧡 She gave birth to seven puppies at Korean city shelter and was rescued along with her puppies. While her puppies have all found forever homes, Gowoon still remains at the Center, waiting for her own family. • Interaction with People: Is still not accustomed to human touch. Allows gentle, cautious petting and can manage soft touches but reacts defensively if touched too suddenly. It is necessary to take time to touch her, to which she gets accustomed. • Interaction with Dogs: Gets along well with calm dogs with a similar demeanor and appreciates dogs that approach her gently. • Separation Anxiety: Enjoys her own time and becomes more active when she is alone. • Potty Training: Currently, only practices outdoor potty as she lives at the Center. • Hygiene: Is not yet comfortable bathing or brushing due to her unfamiliarity with human contact. • Walks: Is afraid of hands reaching for her to attach a leash, which has prevented her from going on walks. • Car Sickness: Travels well in a car without any signs of motion sickness. • Is frightened by loud noises and sudden movements. Slow, deliberate movements around her can help her feel more secure and comfortable.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Kkotbun❤️ In the fall of 2022, Kkotbun was brought to Korean city shelter along with five puppies. Despite the challenges of raising her puppies alone, she managed to care for them until they were healthy and well-fed. All her puppies have been adopted, and now Kkotbun is waiting for her forever family. * With People: Needs a bit of time to warm up to people. Gets frightened by sudden or large movements, making her trembled with fear. Once she gets used to someone, she may follow them around and respond when called. Follows familiar people with waaging her tail and comes closer to them when called. * With Dogs: Get along peacefully with other dogs while staying at the center but didn’t actively initiate play. Used to occasionally enjoy spending time alone in a shaded corner, basking in the breeze. In her foster home, she doesn't show much interest when she meets other dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Does well alone when her family goes out. Is calm and independent, engaging in play on her own when left alone. * Potty Training: Currently limited to indoor potty as she hasn’t started walking outside. Sometimes covers potty pads with her nose, so artificial grass was introduced, and she now uses it successfully. * Hygiene: Exhibits defensive nipping during baths out of fear. While she doesn’t enjoy brushing, she tolerates it. Gets very scared during nail clipping, which may lead to potty accidents. * Walking: Due to the risk of running away, Kkotbun hasn’t been on outdoor walks yet. Does not like being grabbed, so she’s undergoing gradual training for this. Consistent practice has reduced her aversion to wearing an all-in-one harness. * Car Sickness: Experiences mild car sickness. * Is timid and scared of sudden noises, such as rustling bags or falling objects. * While she’s okay with being petted or having her paws touched, she’s frightened of being picked up or held tightly. ** Health Status: Kkotbun is missing one lower incisor, and her right lower canine tooth is broken and shorter. However this does not affect her eating or daily activities. 💙 Foster's Instagram: @kkotbun2_

Story
Meet Yangpa🤍 (It means onion in Korean) Yangpa was brought to the shelter in 2022, and during her year-long stay, a hernia developed, prompting an immediate rescue. Hernia surgery went well and the lump on her hind legs was removed successfully. She is currently healthy and in good shape. * Toward People: Good. Wags her tail at the sight of people. * Toward Dogs: Shows little interest in other dogs. No trouble with other dogs, since he quietly growls to show he doesn't want to be bothered if bothered by them. * Separation Anxiety: Is unknown since she lives with other dogs at the Center.. * Potty Training: Only does outdoors since she lives in the center. * Hygiene: Tolerates bathings and having a hair cut nicely. She doesn't like trimming her nails, but she doesn't overreact, and she takes ear-cleaning well. * Walks: Excellent on walks. Occasionally stops and looks off into space but walks in step side by side. * Car Sickness: Enjoys vehicle rides without experiencing motion sickness, and enters the car on her own when required. 💌Special Note💌 * Due to her voracious appetite, it is recommended that she be fed alone in a secluded area. * not so comfortable with new dogs, so it would be ideal to be adopted as the only pet. * As she is quite aged, her skin can be a bit oily. * Others: Microchipped, heartworm negative upon retest, surgery to hernia and lump done, dental scaling done and 8 teeth extracted. * Displays indications of aging including head mentis and spine malfunction, but no issues at all regarding day-to-day living.
