Hi, my name is Maya! I'm a 7-year-old female pitbull terrier. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Affectionate, Chill, Gentle Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Staff at CRHS say I'm the most perfect girl in the world! I don't seem to have much interest in toys, all I want is love! I'm not picky about where the love is coming from, I love people of all ages. I would groom the other dogs and cats in my previous home. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 4 or 5/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained! I should do well in a home: I lived with children, cats, and dogs in my previous home and did great with them, so I should do well with all given proper introductions and time to adjust. My favorite activities are: Cuddling with my humans and getting all the affection I can get! Things I need work on are: I can be a little anxious sometimes, so I'll need an owner that can understand me and go at my pace. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Maya did great. She was pretty nervous at times. Riding shot gun next to me instead of in the back of the car helped. Walks beautifully on the leash. Just wanted to be near me at home. Did not explore the house. Seemed very hesitant and nervous to explore. Needs some reassurance that it's ok. Didn't play with toys. She just wanted to relax and be near me. Her kisses and snuggles are the best!" **I am an extended stay friend at the shelter, therefore my adoption fee is 50% off!** Hi! My name is Zailey I am a 5-year-old, spayed Pit Bull Terrier. I am microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Adorable, Adaptable, and Active Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Zailey is a wonderful girl who has formed strong bonds with both staff and volunteers. She carries herself with grace at the shelter and is always sweet and affectionate with staff and volunteers. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 7/8 Housetraining Status: Zailey is making progress with house training and just needs a little guidance and consistency to master it completely. I should do well in a home: Zailey would thrive in a home WITHOUT children or cats. She tends to do better with male dogs and could do well with the right canine companion, given a proper introduction and time to adjust. Zailey's favorite activities are spending quality time with loved ones and being involved in whatever they’re doing. She just love being part of the action! Doggy Day Out Notes: This lovely girl did great on our day out. I think today was a much needed day away from all the chaos for her. She was great in the car, never barked, and was very affectionate with gentle kisses and lots of belly rubs while we hung out. She took a great nap in a cozy chair and then was charged up to play but never got too wild or crazy. Amazing dog and she would be an amazing sdekick!" "She is such a sweet dog. She loves looking out the window on car rides, and she even rolled down the window herself at one point. She was very treat motivated and sat, laid down, and did shake for a treat. She saw a ton of people today, she did great, was very sweet and wanted all the attention. She pulls a little on leash and gets excited especially when going in the pet store but she does listen well when redirected! She is a great dog!" "Zailey did so well today! She met a couple new people. She got a little chilly when we went to get coffee so we brought her back home and she curled up on the couch and took a big nap, she was snoring :) She did great with everyone she met and loved her new toy. She was so happy to be in a home setting, didn’t have any accidents all day!" Looking for a running or hiking partner? I'm your girl! I'm very friendly and love meeting new people Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8 or 9/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained, though it may take me some time to adjust to a new outdoor schedule. I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Running around and jumping outside is really fun!!! I also love getting pets from my humans.
