Story
Meet Indi a shy but very sweet 2 year old Pit Bull/Siberian Husky mix who was surrendered along with her sister Tivi. Indi has lived most of her adult life as an outside kennel dog so she will need a patient and loving family that will give her guidance and boundaries as she settles into being a spoiled house dog! Indi is a friendly and affectionate dog with lots of love to give! She is an adult dog with lots of energy and is very playful, smart, and brave. She is curious about the world around her and loves to explore new places and smells. She is also independent and enjoys some alone time, but is shy around new people and in new situations, so will need some extra love and patience to help her come out of her shell. Indi was said to be a bit bossy with her sister so we will need to make sure she meets any and all dogs she will be living with. Indi CAN NOT go to a home that has cats or chickens as she is not good with them! Indi has been spayed, has been brought up to date on her vaccines. Microchipped, Heartworm tested, Flea/Tick prevention started, she has been microchipped. Story
Pickles is a handsome 1 year old low-rider who came in as a stray. No one came looking for this darling boy. When this boy arrived he had some scrapes and bumps and some swelling in his neck. He was started on medication but whatever injuries he had sustained before arrival had begun to create an abscess. The abscess burst and he received medical care to clean the wound and skin. Because of the size of the wound area Pickles needed some stitches and TLC. He is healing beautifully and will see the vet next week to remove the sutures. Pickles is a little stocky tank of a guy. He loves his stuffed animals and playing in our play yards. He is shy in new situations and with new people. But once he settles in his a goofy and silly Love~A~Bull guy! Pickles has done with the dogs he has met. At a year old he is still very much a puppy so he will need patience and understanding as he learns the household routines and masters the art of potty training. Pickles has been neutered, microchipped and Heartworm tested. We have updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention. Story
*****PLUTO'S EARS HAD BEEN LEFT INFECTED AND UNTREATED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME> SADLY THIS WILL BE A LIFELONG CHRONIC CONDITION THAT WILL NEED TO BE WATCHED ****TESTED POSITIVE FOR LYME AND EHRLICHIA AND HAS STARTED MEDICATION TO TREAT Pluto has been through a lot in his short 3 years of life. He was a stray, roaming the streets for who knows how long before he was finally rescued and brought to our shelter. When he arrived, he was covered in ticks and skin and bones. But despite his rough start, Pluto has never lost his charming and affectionate personality. This handsome boy is a constant companion and a people pleaser. He loves nothing more than being by your side, showering you with love and affection. He also has an infectious happiness and playful spirit that will bring joy to any home. Pluto is an active pup, but he also knows how to be a couch potato on lazy days. He loves going for walks and playing with his toys, but he also enjoys snuggling up next to his favorite humans. And let's not forget, he absolutely adores treats and will do just about anything for them! While Pluto may be shy at first, it won't take long for him to warm up to you and show off his clever and curious nature. He's great with people and would make the perfect best friend for someone patient and loving. However, he can be picky with dogs, so a proper meet and greet is necessary. Pluto is a shy guy that would be best in a home with older dog savvy kids or no kids at all! Pluto does have some special needs. When he arrived at the shelter, he had yeasty ears that were causing him pain. But with proper care and love, he's now on the road to recovery and ready to find his forever home. Pluto has been neutered, microchipped and Heartworm tested. We have updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention.
