Story
Finn is available to meet qualified applicants BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.Please email contact@animalaidsociety.org for more information.Finian was found wandering the streets of Hampton on March 16th, his back leg injured and his head, face, eyes, and mouth burned with acid. This poor boy was left to fend for himself. Luckily, the amazing people who found him were able to get him to The COVE (Center Of Veterinary Expertise) for care and comfort that first night, then he went to stay with our friends at Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter for a few days, and now he's with us. We may never know who did this to Finn, but we do know that even though he's been through a lot... the only time he cries is when he's left alone. Over the past few months, Finn's face has healed, his vision has improved (but will never be great), and he underwent very intricate orthopedic surgery to repair his back leg. Finn desperately wants to be with people, but, he's never really had a chance to be a "normal" dog with loving humans. He's still learning. Sometimes he's fearful, sometimes he's over-excited and mouthy, and sometimes he's a calm snuggly dude. Finn will only be considered for adoption to a home with no children (nobody under the age of 18), and no other pets. He needs an experienced person to help him take his next steps towards recovery.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.

Story
Hello! My name is Baby and I am a very sweet and loving lady in need of a new home. I was originally brought to the shelter by my owner due to them not having the proper amount of time to give to me. I was adopted, but was brought back as a stray and my adopted owner did not come to reclaim me. I am an excellent lady who has a lot of love to give! I can be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up, I am a regular lap dog! Please come in and meet with me today.
