Story
We adopted Laika and her sister Sookie, who is also listed about 2 years ago. The sisters had thier territory issues, but all in all are very loving. We list about the unknown as far as getting along with other dogs due to being a bit territorial. We are in need of rehoming due to our newborn and the dogs jealousy makes us afraid. They are loving and sweet. Very good with our cat that helped raise them. It saddens us to rehome, but we have found this necessary.

These pups are in The Colony, Texas too!

Story
Meet Uno, a handsome light brown Shepherd/Retriever mix with the sweetest, most soulful eyes you’ll ever see. This gentle boy may be a little shy at first, but once he knows you, he’ll become your loyal best friend and constant companion.Uno enjoys taking peaceful walks and spending quiet time with his people. He would do best in a home with a fenced-in backyard, where he can relax and explore at his own pace. Because loud noises can make him nervous, Uno is better suited for a calm home with older kids. He appears to be dog-friendly, but a meet and greet is required to ensure a good match. And if you really want to win his heart, bring along some chicken jerky treats — they’re his favorite!Uno is a sweet, steady companion who just needs a little patience and love to fully blossom. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted dog who will reward your care with unwavering loyalty, Uno is the one for you.

Story
Tom is a 3-year-old neutered male Pitbull mix with a stunning brindle coat and a big, loving heart. This energetic guy thrives when he has space to stretch his legs, so a house with a fenced-in backyard would be ideal for him. He absolutely loves going on walks, and he has the cutest habit—sometimes he’ll pause, look up at you, and gently ask for a hug. Lean in, and he’ll reward you with the biggest, happiest smile!Tom prefers the company of women and is uncomfortable around most men. Because of this, he will do best in a women-only household. He has been working with our trainer to build confidence around men, and he has made progress, but this will be an ongoing journey that his new family must be ready to continue. He is also most successful as the only dog in the home, and due to his nervous energy, he should not live with children. Tom is full of joy with the people he trusts—he adores our female volunteers, loves playtime with his toys, and shines when he feels safe and understood. If you`re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will reward your patience with endless love, hugs, and heart-melting smiles, Tom is ready to meet his perfect match.

Story
Noelle is a 3-year-old spayed female Pit Bull with a beautiful white and blue coat and a whole lot of love to give. This sweet girl enjoys getting out for walks and does well overall, though she can pull a bit when she’s excited—so a harness is her best walking buddy.Noelle already knows how to sit and is wonderfully polite when it comes to treats, taking them very gently. Speaking of treats… she’s definitely a foodie, and snacks are the quickest way to make her tail wag and her heart happy! She can be a bit vocal in her kennel, which tells us she’d do best in a home with a fenced-in backyard where she can relax, stretch her legs, and enjoy some quiet time outside. Once she’s out and about, her sweet personality really shines. If you’re looking for a food-motivated, smart, and loving companion who enjoys walks and will thrive in a home of her own, Noelle might be the perfect match for you. Come meet her and see if she’s the missing piece to your family!
